Right so here is what I got right now but It needs alot of work. Even with all the lights on all the pictures are really dark, but with the fash you can't see anything so.... Case Top Front Side Side with flash *Edit the only link that works right now is "Front" Edit again* AHHHHHHHHHH ok I need somewhere else to host my pictures for free. Ever since you-are-a-huge-nerd.com when down I haven't had any luck with finding a free pic hosting place.

You both have points...No of course your not gonna take a couple shots to the leg or arm and still be running/shooting perfectly And sure games have attempted to compensate for this. But you have to draw the line somewhere. Willing suspension of disbelieve. If I'm playing a WWII FPS and I get shot once and don't die, I can still believe I'm running around in a real war. If I'm play a WWII FPS and I see some guy bouncing toward me like some kinda hopping bunny, I have a hard time believing I'm still in WWII. Besides when I play COD I play it on the hardest level. It doesn't take may hits to die.

So I can't reall remeber if there is anyway to turn on traces in CS. I know I installed some long list of things to help improve FPS but I'm not sure it that was one of them. So is there yes or no.. If so whats the command?

ya after reviewing a little help from my friends, It would seem to be that the best thing would be to save up for a 9800/9700

ya 9700 pro will spank the ever live'n shiznizzel out of a 9600 just wondering but as far as vid cards go is the 9600XT (at around 150 to 160) better than a 9800 pro for 250 to 260... is the 9800 pro gonna be worth the extra 100 bucks? edit* I have one stick of 512 and its some no name brand i think

So currently I've got a 9600 (not XT, not SE, just 6900), 512 ram (some middle of the road ram I don't remeber what it is) and a athlon XP 1800 (1.5) but it's OC to 1.7 I've got a decent mobo Epox somthing Nforce 2 chipset. I'd like to be able to run games better like cod and Need for speed etc. Cs and dod run fine. So what do I upgrade? Get another stick of ram go for a better processer (like a bartron) or drop in a 9600 XT? I know they all need to be upgraded but my funds are running really low right now and can only afford to upgrade one. so watta ya say?

ya thats what I did got a 9600 for temp...then i bought a 9800 pro...then i got a nasty speeding ticket and had to cancel the order on my 9800 oh well some day some day and taco bell uses grade D meat and all other sorts of nasty stuff...I eat there once maybe twice a year at MOST.

ya i think he threw down 2300 for the system...freaken 700 dollar processer....mine cost 57 bucks

He just got it up and running 3dmark 03 was 668something i think it was 6683 or 6638 not sure I'll have to see it again

hehe I got a 9800 pro coming in the mail here in a week or two. But I'm intrested to see what a buddy of mines rig is gonna bench at once he gets it all put together (or rather I put it all together for him) not sure all of what he got I just know the got the most expesive of everything he could find. For istance got the fastest 64bit cpu (only 700 some bucks at newegg) 9800 XT and so on. Spent way to much money but it should be pretty impressive

Ya steam booted up fine for me it just would not let me connect to any servers, it fails to do somthing or other. the question is how buggy will steam be in April when HL2 comes out. Well I assume they will be useing steam for HL2 that is.

hmmm so the question is.....is it cheeper to get an XT from newegg, or to get it from Bestbuy with the employe discount of cost plus 5%

90% of stuff I get from newegg I don't pay anything for shipping. and Fedex always gets stuff to me fast... Well Fedex ground just lost a package of mine I'll have to deal with that monday though
