I blame GO for killing the GC servers. We used to have daily 20+ days on the CSS server, and now with GO, half the time no one's on the server but is playing matching or whatever the 5v5 is. I miss source server. That, and admin controls are much easier in source. Yes but if they introduced the match making in CSS it would have killed the server just as much imo

b4 is moving right along. now has a nice 3D skybox LOOKS CANYONish now! (not completely satisfied with it yet though) made site B wider and toying with the idea of taking the lower route into upper! Whut (I just feel like site B is a little too tight for my taste.) added some flair to the retaining walls and gonna work site A little more. Will re-up and post a new DL sometime in the next day or two

So how drunk were you when you tried playing? hehe I WISH I was drunk when playing it. I could have used it as a painkiller. You should play Saturday Night customs ... I hear my maps bring joy to millions.... or make you think your high from the induced lag

The deagle is TERRIBLE in go. They OPed it for like 3 days and then jerked the reins in.

Its here the Beta 3 version of canyon. Will push for an upload to the server for play this Saturday night. Differences from beta 1- T spawn area /mmediate outside area covered to stop spawn flashing. Vent access moved back for ease of entry for T's. Made site A wider and moved cover around. Many cosmetic changes. ========================================== future plans. 3D skybox soundscapes ( right now only 1 prevailing soundscape) More details Maybe some work on Site B's size (ugh) de_canyon_b3.zip

I agree with some of the peeps posting below the vid. It would not have worked on me. I'm too noob to avoid flashes. I eats them for breakfast,lunch, and dinner. That said, I would have died anyways...

I would like to run some "canyon" test with some members who wouldn't mind testing Given the struggle of the pub server(to stay populated) here of late I wouldn't want to run said test on it but would prefer to take it to the private server. So I'm requesting someone move the files over to the private? As for the regular members. I'm looking on possibly tweaking the rush points/ timing . Help and opinions wanted! I want to make this map as competitive as possible and bots and drying running myself are not as reliable as live action. I am thinking CT spawn may need to be moved back a little. CT's can reach site B's doors on the other side and mid way before T's which may or not be a bad thing(thus opinions wanted) Some maps like inferno, Aztec, Season, Mill and Dust Allow CTS to reach and peek rush points before T's and or set up about anywhere in site they want to before T's arrive. other maps like NUKE upper site , DUST2 B site, and Train A site are really bang bang with both sides arriving about this same time / CT having a slight advantage. Whats the opinion on this? Do you like CT super camping or when T's rush a bang bang entry? Right now CT's can peek or super camp Canyon..........

My work hours have changed. to moAR so my time has been shot. I'm trying to juggle mapping and game time. Last night I mapped for 2 hrs and played one match at like 1 in the morning.. got up at 6..... how long can I keep this up

I think you're right san' but for the sake of the more hard core members people should at least try to play "scrim" style and maybe get some practice in some CMM first. You need to add some GC members as friends on steam who are CS:GO regulars.... are you in the GC steam group? That would be the place to start. Girlzilla dropped the server ip's in the other thread about the 10 man Saturdays

Like its any different from the GC server or invite lobbies for CMM. Zoo's just more censored for kids. I got walking cats and peklz and shaftiels and that watchamacallit woden I got all these strange and unusual animals I can handle right here!

I probably will not be around for any 10 man or maybe even customs this Saturday. I planned on taking work of tomorrow to take my kids to the Zoo but weathers gonna be bad that day. So I'm pushing the zoo trip back to Saturday. The zoo is 2 1/2 hrs away and about a all day thing so time won't be on my side

I was going to take the day off of work tomorrow to take my kids to the Zoo(crowd avoidance on weekday) but its 90% chance of rain and storms for the first 2/3rd of the day so looks like I'll be pushing back to Saturday on the Zoo trip (2 1/2 hrs away) The Zoo at Asheboro NC is considerably large so it takes about all day to see everything and with 2 little kids who walk slower than me it'll take even longer so I may not even make it back for customs at all #weather

I prefer vent so we can communicate better on and off the server but everyone will not have it. The reasoning behind the timing is for it to be exactly before Sat. Night customs begin. Its kinda hard to plan it earlier on a saturday when a lot of people are doing things mid day/ early afternoon
