I'd probably be down for this, but I'm on the west coast and I get some pretty high pings to the other servers. Are there going to be regional divisions, or should I expect to be playing on a lot of the eastern servers?

heheheh I got some new music I borrowed Linkin Park and Acceptence from my friend... Found some old school Incubus, in my collection along with Taking Back Sunday. 6 CDs installed to the database of the station! 450+ songs (not counting my aerosmith XP) Acceptance and Taking Back Sunday are both good. If you haven't heard BNO or Emery, I think you'd probably like them, based on some of your other music. UnderOATH is more screamo, but still very awesome. Hrm, what else would I recommend... If you haven't heard Adair, they only have 5 songs, but they're good. I like Funeral For a Friend, at least their first 2 CDs. And if you do end up getting some BNO, get Make Yourself Sick, not Trainwreck. Trainwreck is really good, but very different.

P!ATD and Academy are fantastic. Needs moar Emery/underOATH/Boys Night Out/Faint/etc.

Cyklik here, wanted to let you guys know that I think you all do a fine job of keeping the server clean and fun. That said, I want to see some VIP mod so we can play Oilrig.

Go into your BIOS, there should be a CPU temp monitor in there. Let us know how hot it is, you're probably in need of a new heatsink or at least a nice new re-application of thermal paste.

This movie was entirely action based, thank God, because the plot was lacking. It seemed like the writers wrote these 1 at a time, because they should have progressed the story of Anakin's anger and resentment toward the council WAY more than they did in the first 2. When he gave in to Sidius, it was almost completely out of nowhere. But like I said, thank God this was all action, because it rocked. I wouldn't rate this movie very well as a normal movie, but it worked pretty well for Star Wars.

I've been interested in seeing this film for awhile now, I just haven't gotten around to it. From the previews, it looked like it was going to be somewhat similar in style to Lost in Translation and Garden State. I don't really know how to describe the similarity, but they're both...really interesting, almost plotless films. Bah, I don't know how to say it, suffice to say that it's a different type of film than most.

Let's see, underOATH, Fall Out Boy, Taking Back Sunday (kinda), Boys Night Out, Emery, Adair, Fear Before the March of the Flames, Academy Is. That's a number of good bands, all slightly different sounds and degrees of scream. If you'd like more, just ask and I'll take a look at my list.

Having just purchased a refurbished xbox, I'm planning on spending a little cash to mod it. I have 2 questions for any seasoned owners/modders: 1) What chip is the best all around? 2) I'm not confident enough in my soldering skills and would rather not take it somewhere to have it done, so am I going to lose functionality or quality by getting a solderless modchip? Oh, in case it helps, I'm planning on getting XBMC, throwing in a new HD, and FTPing music, movies, etc. to it.

The Faint. Although it might end up being more of a rave than a show. Also going to see The Academy Is, Bella Lea, Boys Night Out, and *cringe* Bright Eyes (Playing before the Faint). Also, looks like Warped Tour is bringing some fantastic action to San Diego.

I swear they ripped some of the monologues straight from Max Payne. It was quite fantabulous and yes, Marv was a beast.

Nothing has yet to top RahXephon in my book.

I believe Rock/Alternative could probably be broken up into several categories. I listen to emo-core and screamo, but rock is the closest thing I guess.

A friend of mine has a Dell Inspiron 1150 laptop, and she apparently dropped it about 3 feet the other day, and it's now having problems. She gave it to me to check it out and see if I could do anything with it, but I'm much more a desktop hardware guy, I don't know too much about laptop troubleshooting. I assume she'll end up having to take it somewhere to get it checked out professionally, but I thought I'd post up here and see if anyone had any input first. Whenever I press the power button to turn it on, it revs up like it's going to boot up normally, then after about 2-3 seconds, it clicks off. The screen never shows anything, and holding down the power button gets the same effect. I don't know if this is a mobo issue or not, but I don't really know how else to test it. Any ideas?

I never saw Ju-On 1 (The Grudge), but I did see numero dos, and it was pretty fantastic. Very wierd though, moreso than the American remake of number one. And yes, I too will be seeing Ring 2 as soon as possible.
