  1. Was the CPU stress test, hard on anyone else's system? Seemed like the computer did great on the graphics test but both CPU ones were rough.

  4. Hello, I just wanted to comment about de_contra being in the rotation on recrud. The other night, the server was pretty full on scoutz when the map swiched to contra. Within 2 minutes after swiching the server was down to maybe 6 or so players. I posted a quick vote, and then swich to gg_autumn. Even less players stuck around for this swich, and the server started with me and two other players. Fatty then came and swiched the map to dust2 inorder to get the server going again. Thus, the point was to make note that contra killed the server. That is all. Thanks, Lost
  5. There also is the attached Soak City for an additional cost.
  6. Will be adding more ram probably this summer and swiching to a SATA hd. Went with 2X512mb to save some cash and to take advantage of the dual channel. Didn't go with a SATA hd, because Mini had an extra Nothings wrong with a free hd.
  7. No oc'ing for this kid. About all I no how to do with computers, is launch steam
  8. heres the specs: AeroCool AeroEngineII-SSP Silver 0.65mm SECC ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Retail Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Conroe 2.4GHz 4M shared L2 Cache LGA 775 Processor - Retail ASUS P5B-E Socket T (LGA 775) Intel P965 Express ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail A-DATA 1GB (2 x 512MB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail ZALMAN CNPS9500 LED 92mm 2 Ball Cooling Fan with Heatsink - Retail Antec True Power Trio TP3-650 ATX12V 650W Power Supply with Three 12V Rails 100 - 240 V UL, CUL, FCC, TUV, CE, C-tick, CCC, CB - Retail Diamond X1950XT w/256mb PCI-E and a 200Gb hard drive mini gave me

  11. I usually play using the headset, which is not all that great of one, or using my speakers. My speakers are several years old, there are just 2 plus a sub. So my question is, besides this possible popping noise, is there any reason to spend the $145 vs $70? Originally when i thought of sound cards, i was thinking along the lines of this price: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16829102010 But the system that I just had built is a very nice one, and don't want to put something that isnt on the same level as the rest of system. Thanks, lost
  12. I dont have the time to send the board back, because I head back down to school in a couple of days. Unfortunately, its too far of a drive for Mini to make a house call. I saw this sound card on newegg thats a x-fi: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16829102006 Any thoughts about this one.
  13. Hello, just built a new computer and the mic input on the motherboard (Asus p5b-e) doesn't work. Rather than send the board back and have Mini rebuild everything, I am debating between getting a soundcard or just getting a USB headset. Headset would be the easiest, but than everytime I want to play without headphones I wouldn't have a mic. I guess it will come down to what I can get for a good price yet has good quality . Any product suggestions? Thanks, Lost Or soemthing like this might work: http://www.usbgear.com/usb-audio-adapter/u...udio_cable.html Since I already have a headset (that isn't usb).
  14. Just borrow a laptop from work ebil, they wont mind
  15. I have the iPaq hx2795b and have no complaints so far. It has wifi, and bluetooth plus came with a docking station. I got this for when I do my clinical rotations, as it is a mobile reference. But for the price a laptop works too. When I was looking I also was debating about the Palm LifeDrive. I heard bad reviews about this because, since it has a hard drive it reads slower. Likewise since its an actual hard drive it can't withstand being dropped on occasion. But thats just what I heard from the CompUSA guy.
