Context: I was on the server yesterday, it was a full game and everyone was pretty excited to start. But apparently, the servers were lagging because two people (player A and player had high pings each, so Maestro (the admin at the time) decides to restart the server. All is well, and the server is restarted. This is when I type in the chat "let's roll n***as" and I receive a permanent ban. Why do I feel like my punishment is severe, and unfairly deserved? Because it was a word spoken in the moment, and I believe it was taken out of context. I don't believe anybody in the room was even offended or cared, but I know that's not reason enough. Where I live, California, the word "n***a" is used as colloquialisms in our culture, but I can see how it would offend somebody. For that, I do apologize and will be considerate toward other players the next time I play. But back to the point. I believe since this was my first ever offense, a permanent ban is a bit...too much? I was not warned (and I know it may not be policy to warn, but still) before receiving a permanent ban, nor given an ability to explain myself. It was only until I logged in this morning that I discovered what had happened. If anyone would like to discuss this further, please do so. I'm happy and willing to comply, but it is only the duration of my ban which I am contesting and arguing for. If it were a one-day ban, I could understand. But I feel that my action was taken out of context, exaggerated, and thus would like to reduce the severity. I was in the 10v10 server, and I was trying to help pick up people who fell behind. It worked, but then some teammates fall back down and I couldn't have risked going back to get them because they were getting slaughtered soo bad, i would've died. so i just follow the rest of the team to go forward and that results in a ban? Was that not allowed? They were extremely noobish and didn't seem like they knew what they were doing. i tried to help but in the end it didn't work out. It is my fault I couldn't grab about 2 or 4 of them, which would be my bad, I was being a bit selfish with my amount of HP though which would be on me. my bad.

Hi I was banned from gc Left 4 Dead Server for unknown reasons. I have hundreds of hours of playing on the server and tried to help anyone who asdks me any favour or requests. But when i played last time, i think i rushed and that i have never before done in my entire playtime and have never faced any bans. I tried to reconnect the next time and found i am banned. I apologise for any bad behaviour or rushing and would try to improve myself in anyways possible and accept any useful feedback from Admins as required. Thanks a lot all

Hello everybody, Today at 18h10 (environ) I've been banned on "gcftw.com | L4D2 10v10 #1" at Left 4 Dead 2 when I played with a friend. I've just rushed 10 seconds and an admin banned me for rush but a little while later, my friend (who he was on the server more) said me that the admin who he banned me rush for 1 long minute. When there is a regulation, members AND ADMINS have to respect it. Ok, ok, I rushed and I didn't know that rushing causes a ban and I'm so sorry (I don't make it again) , but this administrator have to submit thereby, ok ? I don't want flatter you, because this admin isn't a good example for the GCFTW community. Please ban the player 'Bot' (myself) for 2 weeks. I've been spending far too much time on the gc server. Since I'm somewhat of a video game addict, I think stopping cold turkey for 2 weeks would help me sink time into more productive avenues. I don't know what moderation is.

Hello GC community I was recently (within the past couple of weeks) banned from your cs go server without warning. I don't troll, I don't TK or grief other players, I just like to frag lol Which I'm guessing is the reason for the ban -suspected hacker- There aren't many good pubs in csgo and being banned from yours really narrowed down my playing field lol. So yeah, I've been playing counter strike (1.6/source) for many years casually and competitively and I'm 100% legit. Username: Nat King Cobra Steam: STEAM_1:0:56139447 I was banned today on the Left 4 Dead 2 Server because I said the word "friggin". Someone jokingly responded that there is no swearing on the server, to which I responded jokingly "well f**k that". 5 minutes later I am permabanned. I would have liked a warning or anything to the sort, but instead I was instantly banned without question. I usually behave and help others on the server, and I feel it is stupid that the admins are so trigger happy that they ban without warning, which based upon other unban requests, seems to be a common occurence. I apologize for my actions and would like to continue to play on the servers, as I enjoy the people on them.

Strut that a$$ (with S instead of $$ signs - a name I thought shouldn't even be on the server.. but I digress..) was repeatedly using fowl language toward me (Inf3ct t3D) and threatening me.. after I pointed out something to him.. just saying that he was holding a spitter.. he went crazy.. yes.. I responded, but he was cussing up a storm, yet someone saw it fit to kick ME over HIM.. I tried to log in, saw only spectator slots available.. but HE WAS STILL PLAYING!!! WHAT THE HECK??? I love the server, but if this continues.. there are too many other ones out there..
