The gore was no shocker to me after finding out that this flick was directed by Robert Rodriguez (From Dusk Till Dawn). I love the way the movie was made where everything is black and white except for a few objects that stand out in color. Very artistic film with great acting.. plus Jessica Alba is just so hot. Some people have said that the movie is long and drags, but it kept me on the edge of my set the whole time. Final thought: Elijah Wood is one of the most sick villains to hit the big screen. MPAA RATING R, for sustained strong stylized violence, nudity and sexual content including dialogue. I've never heard any other movie get a "Sustained, strong, stylized violence" rating. Very gory and violent. So do not take your woman to this movie if she has a weak stomach. As for the movie itself. One of the best movies I've ever seen. It is a masterpiece in the way it is filmed. As close to a comic book on film as you will ever see. I love how the different characters all tie in one way or another. And of course.. .Jessica Alba. WOW. Let me say this again. Jessica Alba.
