"Until now consumers have been hesitant to upgrade to a mainboard with the PCI-Express standard because it would also mean having to purchase a new PCIe VGA card."

I thought that was basicly the only reason to buy a PCI-Express motherboard.

Some people like to upgrade piece by piece due to budgetting, etc. This makes it easy, not having to drop another 300-500 for a vid card because your new mobo doesn't have an agp port.

umm how does that work exactly???  based on that pic there's no way it would work with MOST video cards.  cept maybe short ones designed for mini pc's.

Unless the card can stick up way above the bracket, but the I'd think you'd have to worry about mounting hoes, case clearence, air flow, etc.

Yeah, that viddy card in the pic didn't look standard to me...
