appalachian_fox July 20, 2005 Share appalachian_fox Member July 20, 2005 Is anyone planning on making a day trip to Cedar Point (That's the big amusement park, correct?) on Saturday? Ancillary members of the Georgia crew plan on going to Cedar Point and we need to arrange transportation. We have a car to get up there but were wondering if someone else had a vehicle and two open seats they were trying to fill. We'd be willing to pitch in for gas. Bubblegum Bandit July 20, 2005 Share Bubblegum Bandit Member July 20, 2005 If you were to go Saturday, you would miss the whole meat of the LAN. What's the point? CS Tourney and the Hold'em tourney I know are both on Sat, not sure about the rest. Take an extra day and go Monday or Sunday or something. Rezurektion July 20, 2005 Share Rezurektion Member July 20, 2005 (edited) Its in Sandusky, OH.. it's about 1.5 to 2 hrs from Hudson area . Depending on Traffic and construction. Honestly with Cedar Point, don't get me wrong... I love the place, but going there defeats the purpose of going to, having the lan. CedarPoint is a trip in itself. Basically a 2 day trip to really experience it. Since the core of the lan is Saturday. Just my thoughts Edited July 20, 2005 by Rezurektion
appalachian_fox July 20, 2005 Author Share appalachian_fox Member July 20, 2005 (edited) Ancillary members. Besides, some have less flexibility in time off than others, especially when carpooling from a distance with a crew. I don't play Hold'em or CS:S anyway, so that wouldn't affect me if I were to go. Auxiliary; helping (Bold emphasis added) I agree with Tut. If I were to go, it's my money. However, it's the glossing over of the vocabulary that I find bothersome. If anyone still needs help with this idea, you can PM me. Edited July 21, 2005 by appalachian_fox
appalachian_fox July 21, 2005 Author Share appalachian_fox Member July 21, 2005 Alright, arrangements are locked in, we have two seats available for anyone who wants to go to Cedar Point. Well, not anyone: Children must have a chaperone. Our non-playing voyagers don't want to babysit
