Playaa January 31, 2003 Share Playaa Member January 31, 2003 I'm with NOFX on that one...who wants a pc that is impossible to upgrade? and look it has space for 1 CD/DVD drive and 1 floppy drive...seriously who needs a floppy drive if you're not like in school or something? and I HATE (with a large passion) having only 1 CD/DVD drive...I must have a burner AND a DVD drive and seperate so I can straight copy cd's without having to switch cd's mid-burn... I'm sticking with the 80's designs
Guest ZDamage January 31, 2003 Share Guest ZDamage Guests January 31, 2003 Those shuttle pc's are primary for those in college who do not have a lot of room and for those who go to LAN parties a lot.
Gond January 31, 2003 Share Gond Member January 31, 2003 Thats the kind of box I need to buy for my parents...they have to lug the mini-tower to Florida and back 2 times a year. I can certainly see a benefit to it.
DJ Premier January 31, 2003 Share DJ Premier Member January 31, 2003 I like those things. They compromise space for good design and aesthetics. My gf wants me to build her one. Anyways, I know Destroyer uses it for a gamebox that's hooked up to his TV with a dual joystick deck and all. I think it's pretty cool. It's like have a PS/2 like environment but using a PC. [Mmmm]Homer January 31, 2003 Author Share [Mmmm]Homer Member January 31, 2003 I might build an AMD one for my fiance, use the integrated video for starters. Just add a CD-RW, RAM, and CPU. If it had a 9700 it would be a little screamer of a system.
