Fatty March 4, 2006 Share Fatty GC Founder March 4, 2006 I just deleted 148 member accounts. Chances are they won't know anyways. While part of the registration acknowledges that I'll frequently send out newsletters, I don't like to send em to people who don't need them. While I like to see the number of registered forum users rise, that number doesn't really represent active users. I just pruned the members who joined anytime before 2006 and had never posted. 148 people who registered but never posted for some reason! Then again, the last time I did this (dunno, perhaps 6 months ago) I deleted like 300 accounts. Good day! Edit: Now we're down to 914 members. I like statistics, lemme do some looking here. 4 of those members were classified as "banned" ....got rid of those.

Goofus Maximus March 4, 2006 Share Goofus Maximus Member March 4, 2006 (edited) I'M POSTING! I'M POSTING! Please don't DELETE me, Mr. Moderator-Man!!! I imagine that most of those folks were people who registered just to post a "why was I banned?" message... Fatty March 4, 2006 Author Share Fatty GC Founder March 4, 2006 434 have less than 10 posts. 327 registered in 2004 or earlier. 100 were last active on prior to 2005. 3 of those haven't been active since 2003. 556 of the remaining 910 haven't posted in 2006! 419 of the current users have at least visited the board in 2006. I'M POSTING! I'M POSTING! Please don't DELETE me, Mr. Moderator-Man!!! I imagine that most of those folks were people who registered just to post a "why was I banned?" message... LOL, relax. I doubt I'd ever delete any user with more than 10 or 20 posts and none that were currently active. Perhaps at some point I'll prune the "less than 10 posts and last active prior to 2005" group. This would be these 39 accounts: Seal Team Five BLaZe Necronomus Nuggz ZeroSignal |Th3Fall3N|*System [Mmmm]bdgthesmeg Soat [sAB]b33r boNEs NaturalBornKilla skyline -AppleJuice- TheChehsire jerret Draft j0moran Vapor99 November Skyre Tarsuel StoRm Ragin Inspired`5inner Sadisticalism ConcentrAzN Stinger bullet-402 Arcturus c.d. Fatty March 4, 2006 Author Share Fatty GC Founder March 4, 2006 The quality of the forums isnt always shown in the amount of members registered... Absolutely. Actually, the reason I started looking at this was because someone asked how many members were in our community. I can't count our server regs who haven't posted in here, but I can find numbers about how many are contributing to our community in the form of discussions online. -157 members have 300+ posts. -66 of us have posted over 1,000 times. While I was doing this, I went ahead and added a new disclaimer to the registration acknowledgement having to do with inactive account removal w/o notification. -24 people have posted 2,000 times or more

Fatty March 4, 2006 Author Share Fatty GC Founder March 4, 2006 How many have more than 20,000? Hold on, lemme search that criteria. You guys are making me spam! All of my updates are supposed to just add into my last post! Can you imagine what these numbers would be like if posts in Wonderland actually counted toward people's post counts? Over 28,000 posts in that forum alone.

That's ninja pwnage right there, they'll never see it coming! Can you imagine what these numbers would be like if posts in Wonderland actually counted toward people's post counts? Over 28,000 posts in that forum alone. Haha, CowBoyFromHell would be a big contendor in posting if his posts in "Count" thread ... counted! I like to go there and post up when I have nothing good to say in the regular forums.
