Rashad June 24, 2006 Share Rashad Member June 24, 2006 The Sequal to BF2, takes place in "A world that is cold, brutal and under attack from an ice age". From what I gather BF 2142 is basicly a futuristic and "overhauled" version of BF2. My computer can barely run BF2, so I'm not really looking forward to the great graphics that 2142 will probly incorporate. Has anyone else heard or read anything about BF 2142? Dingy June 26, 2006 Share Dingy Member June 26, 2006 One word rashad...Mechs... Mechs would be cool. Would be interesting to see how it gets pulled off - if they do it. I still like BF2. Pretty good shooter using current weapons. And it certainly is fun stealing the enemy tanks!
Rashad June 26, 2006 Author Share Rashad Member June 26, 2006 I think trying to improve on a game such as BF2 would be almost impossible.
VooDooPC June 27, 2006 Share VooDooPC Member June 27, 2006 They could take out 1/2 the vehicles per map and make the airplanes and helicopters not so unbalanced... that would be a start.
Allanon June 27, 2006 Share Allanon Member June 27, 2006 I think trying to improve on a game such as BF2 would be almost impossible. Actually it would be easy. All they would have to do is make sure the game was balanced from the day it came out instead of 10 patches later .
Rashad June 27, 2006 Author Share Rashad Member June 27, 2006 I'd play bf2 more often if my laptop's graphics card could handle it. Another thing is that bf2 dosn't support my screen resolution.
