Anyone want to tell me why my steam ID is banned? banned

My steam ID "STEAM_0:1:8735399 " was banned off one of your servers for some reason. I played there once or twice and added it to my favorites. I was never accused of hacking by anyone, or don't remember ever doing good. Then a few weeks later I tried to join and it said " Your steam id "STEAM_0:1:8735399 " is banned from the server. I really have no idea what I did to get banned, since I left one time and tried joining a week later and it said I was banned. Can anyone help give me a reason why?

 

Sorry, the server I was playing on was : 216.52.143.40:27015.

 

I have thought of one reason I was banned. I did have a lan at my friends house back in August, and it's possible he was on my computer in this server since it was in my favorites. I'm starting to think he was being annoying and someone just banned him. Other then that, I can't really think of why I've been banned from here.

Hang tight and hopefully the banning admin will come around soon.

 

In the mean time, I'd suggest talking to your friend and seeing if he did anything on the server to get banned. We don't ban for no reason, so there had to be something going on.

I seem to remember an outkast doing something unfavourable....but I can't put my finger on it. August you say? And this was on the Midwest SCOPELESS server correct? (at least that's the server ip you stated, just want to make sure)

Here's what I think may have happened. I've figured out it probably wasn't a friend, since I had the lan there in July and got banned in late August. The last time I remember playing int he server was the night the new radar came out. Also during that night, the admin plugin broke, so scope weapons were allowed on scopeless servers.

 

The best reason I can think of is people were playing with scoped weapons that night in the no scope server, and I may have flamed a fee of them, which I wasn't supposed to do. Is that what you remember happening? Anyway if that's it sorry for doing that, I just forgot/ got angry I guess with people ignoring the obvious rule in the server saying " no scopes"
