stutters October 28, 2006 Share stutters GC Alumni October 28, 2006 personally i really, really like utorrent. it's small, doesn't use a lick of resources, and can be configured properly for private or public trackers. for a while, bitcomet was banned from most private trackers. not sure why, mainly cus i've never strayed far from utorrent. http://www.utorrent.com torrents are great for large file downloads, and a lot of tech-centric sites are using them. linux iso's are easier to find, podcasts (like diggnation) are insanely fast, even firefox is available as a torrent download. Cujo October 29, 2006 Share Cujo Member October 29, 2006 (edited) switched from azureus to utorrent and will never go back. utorrent doesn't slow your comp down the way azureus does. Edited October 29, 2006 by Cujo

Goofus Maximus November 2, 2006 Share Goofus Maximus Member November 2, 2006 (edited) I use BitPump from AnalogX, since all I need is a simple utility for keeping up with AnimeSuki torrents. I like the AnalogX utilities because they're light-footprint, fast-loading, and do the job they're designed for without being buggy like other utilities. Also, they're all FREE! As in "Free Beer"! Goofus Maximus November 6, 2006 Share Goofus Maximus Member November 6, 2006 Update: I've switched to µtorrent as well. It works better than Bitpump with some trackers, and works with more clients than Bitpump, so my downloads go faster.
