[DLM]->Fish November 1, 2006 Share [DLM]->Fish Member November 1, 2006 Could be a bad clutch switch I had that in a beretta you just had to keep pushing the clutch in till it started

[LaW]Maverick November 1, 2006 Share [LaW]Maverick Member November 1, 2006 I agree as well.... Also, Mustangs have issues that are transmission related.... I knew a professional circuit driver had a mustang....was a limited edition cobra....and his transmission went at 12,000 miles....his first one.... Keep an eye on it, but it definitely sounds like the switch to me as well
TheGeek November 2, 2006 Share TheGeek Member November 2, 2006 If it has the V6 then it could also loose compression really easily. But that doesn't pertain to your problem.
francium January 20, 2009 Share francium Member January 20, 2009 i deal with mustangs more than you can imagine, its the clutch sensor, not the actual clutch, look under the dash behind the pedal, there will be a switch that the clutch pedal touches when pushed to the floor, check your connection, if connected fine then replace the switch. not a big deal.
