BEER question

Dingy

Recommended Posts

OK, I need a bit of help from all you wonderful (drinking age) folks in Ohio.

Specifically, I am looking for Shiner Bock beer. Has anyone enjoyed this beer in Ohio?

If so, might it be available in the vacinity of FragFest? It would be such a shame for me

to return with an empty truck......

Oh yeah - any idea of the $$/case?

:biglaugha:

TIA!

Thanks Shep - was looking for whatever party emporiums that may carry it as opposed

to dealing with the distributor - or isn't beer done that way in Ohio?

Anyway - this will give ya an idea of what the bottle looks like.... Beer Here

I was curious and walked over to the cold beer section and found <TADA> Shiner Bock beer.

I was mighty curious (and thirsty) and I would've bought it on the spot but thought it'd look rather suspicious to buy beer while still working my shift.

If you get here and can't find any I'll pick up a few sixes for you.

DUKE - you da' man! (just don't tell Fatty, OK?).

Hmmm.... Ok, so it appears to be in wide circulation.

I don't think a 6 would do though. Between myself and another person at work, I'm thinking maybe 12

cases (or more). So... Anyone have any friends in the business so that I can preorder?.

And g00ters - unfortunately, they don't sell Shiner in Michigan. We have to "import" it.

Thanks for the info!

You can buy cases from most distributers here in Ohio so if you call a few in that area they can hook you up with what you need. Buy from a store & you are stuck with what they have in stock.

Plus the Miller distributor where I get kegs sometimes has logo items for odd beers. You may get lucky & be able to pick up that Shiner Bock beer t-shirt or hat.

Is there an Interstate commerce law about transporting that much alcohol? That might be something you want to look in to in case you get pulled over as it would be a nasty surprise.

They'll be too busy watching Mo coming across the border with a trailer of 200 cases to worry about lil 'ol Dingy! :biglaugha:
