uploaded custom maps team fortress

thanks HC - here are the maps I have uploaded to sftp server:

 

-snofort: smaller map, take intelligence, winter/christmas theme

-iceworld: fast paced smaller map, no strats just kill

-king of hill: 1 cp on top, small good change of pace map after a larger one

-orange_x: larger map, 5 cps, middle being in 3 story building, rarely see a team, win unless they play together

-rooftime: custom map from another server i have played on. larger, good feel, 3cps

-toy_fort_beta2: 5 cps, larger map, one of my favorites

-duel_duel1: smallest map, 2 spawn rooms connect to round room, great fun when a team gets other team trapped in spawn..fun to fight out.

hc - saw the thread on bz2 and have uploaded those to mapserver.

 

if you want, walk me thru moving to server and I can assist with this as well.

1. Upload them, unzipped, into the 'maps' directory, including any accompanying <mapname>.txt and/or <mapname_language>.txt files.

2. Append the map name to the 'maplist.txt' file in the root directory

duel_duel1 should have doors.

I played it with doors. and it's much easier to play a rush out attack rather than avoind all the stickets and spam nades/rockets coming in.

i can look for duel2 which is supposed to have doors, of course, part of the fun Ihad playing this map when fully loaded server was when pinned into spawn by other team, trying to fight out.....can truely feel the eb and flow then....stuck in spawn...pushing out....pushing them back...then 20 minutes later you have them pinned in spawn.

That map didn't make any sense to me. The only objective appeared to be "Render the in-game stats tracking useless." Did I miss something?
