Primus February 4, 2008 Share Primus Member February 4, 2008 I haven't looked but isn't there a client side config you can play with that may have that in it? You could put in anything you want if that is the case. I think it would be funny to put in sound effects instead.
ash February 19, 2008 Share ash Member February 19, 2008 goto cstrike/sounds/radio (create it if its not there) and make a new text file and name it ct_fireinhole.wav. you can also extract cstrike/scripts/game_sounds_radio.txt from the GCF with GCFscrape and change: Radio.FireInTheHole { channel CHAN_VOICE volume 1 soundlevel SNDLVL_75db wave radio/ct_fireinhole.wav } to... Radio.FireInTheHole { channel CHAN_VOICE volume 0 soundlevel SNDLVL_75db //or comment the sound out wave radio/ct_fireinhole.wav } this is more interesting if you wanna modify other sounds

glgl July 21, 2009 Share glgl Member July 21, 2009 Don't plan on playing in leagues if you have removed the sound. If you are caught, it will result in a ban since it's illegal to remove that sound in most leagues.
