Playaa June 30, 2008 Share Playaa Member June 30, 2008 It's darker than any other Pixar movie you've ever seen. It also has barely any real dialogue at all. That said, the animation is gorgeous and the story is excellent. If you can possibly look at it not as a cartoon and as true scifi (which it is) it gets even better in my opinion. 9/10 for me (the only thing I didn't really like was the animation for the humans compared to the animation for the robots...the robots were amazing, the humans were cartoonish) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It was gorgeous to look at, the characters (the robots) were adorable. The story while pulled from the current debate on global warming mentioned nothing of it nor did it preach anything regarding it in the movie. The creators took a current events topic and made a great story out of it. It is the BEST Pixar movie I've seen to date and because of the relation, the best Disney movie I've ever seen. The movie has become one of my all time favorites. 10/10 that's actually really refreshing to hear. i was afraid it was going to be preachy. ... now to just find someone to go with got my girlfriend to watch the incredibles as a test run last night. she enjoyed it, but still isn't into the idea of going to wall-e. She came out of it thinking that WALL-e (the character) is one of the cutest things she's ever seen and she really loved the movie.
