My opinion is that it is ok but not great. If Axl's voice is half of the band, Slash's guitar style was the other half and it is lacking that other half. It also comes off as an attempt to sound more modern and lacks the edginess and rockiness that is the original GnR. Perhaps the key is to listen to it at a couple hundred watts while reclining in the PC chair with the back massager running with Heat enabled. That makes everything better. Urk- Still listening tho.
