To remove a bandage painlessly, saturate the bandage with vodka. The solvent dissolves adhesive 2. To clean the caulking around bathtubs and showers, fill a trigger-spray bottle with vodka, spray the caulking, let set five minutes and wash clean. The alcohol in the vodka kills mold and mildew. 3. Clean jewelry. Soak the jewelry in vodka for five minutes, then rinse, and dry. 4. Clean lipstick from clothing. Rub the stain with vodka, then throw into your regular wash. 5. Pour one-half cup vodka and one-half cup water in a Ziplock freezer bag and freeze for a slushy, refreshable ice pack for aches, pain or black eyes. 12. Strain liquid through a coffee filter, then apply the tincture to aches and pains. 13. To relieve a fever, use a washcloth to rub vodka on your chest and back as a liniment. 14. To cure foot odor, wash your feet with vodka. 15. vodka will disinfect and alleviate a jellyfish sting. 16. samurai nightling April 19, 2009 Share samurai nightling Member April 19, 2009 These are things that any strong ethyl alcohol can do. Vodka is just a good choice because its clear, and a lower alcohol percent than Everclear. Mmmmmm Everclear.

farmerisme April 19, 2009 Share farmerisme Member April 19, 2009 Or.... Drink a fifth of vodka and all the problems in that list seem to become less important. Except maybe the vomit stains.
JackieChan April 19, 2009 Share JackieChan GC Alumni April 19, 2009 (edited) For #1, Mythbusters tried that. Grant still felt it (rated it a 4 out of 10 on the "pain scale"), but it wasn't as bad as ripping one off without anything. anonymo April 20, 2009 Share anonymo Member April 20, 2009 Two reasons why this list is fake. 1- There is never enough vodka, the idea of using it for anything other than giving purpose to soda water is unheard of. 2- 7. Spray vodka on vomit stains, scrub with a brush, then blot dry. I don't think I have to tell you why this is wrong. Also, they're missing the biggest use for vodka of them all. Liquid garment remover.
