[LaW]Maverick August 11, 2010 Share [LaW]Maverick Member August 11, 2010 I honestly can't even think of a use for any of the stuff in this car except some sci-fi addicts attempt to make his lackluster ride look like something out of a B movie. [LaW]Maverick August 11, 2010 Author Share [LaW]Maverick Member August 11, 2010 (edited) No clue..just thought we could have fun figuring out the doo-dads in there. I mean, that looks like a giant oscilloscope...why? What's with the cool light-panel in the dash? I mean, the guy who installed the stuff really did a good job--took his time, made it look good....but WHY IS IT ALL THERE!? WHAT DOES IT DO!? lol Edit: I spelled "weird" well in the subject line, didn't I? Edited August 11, 2010 by [LaW]Maverick
Preacher August 12, 2010 Share Preacher Member August 12, 2010 Tracing it's wiring would tell you a ton more, but back in the 90's it was popular for a bit to hook up stuff to monitor your car when racing. The problem I have is that you would be a tad over-zealous if you were planning on racing that junker lol. The dash lights I think are purely decorative. The steering wheel buttons were originally designed for a nitrous set-up, with toggle switches to turn the system on and the buttons to activate the nitrous flow. I think that most likely it had belonged to a 16 year old with some car mod mags and daddy's credit card lol.

anonymo August 13, 2010 Share anonymo Member August 13, 2010 If I remember correctly, working oscilloscopes can go for $1000+ Also, Preach, those buttons clearly fire the phasers, you noob!
boiler August 13, 2010 Share boiler Member August 13, 2010 I expected the buttons to work with the little screen to fire the "weapons". Asteroids anyone?
