Yeah, they are saying that the Wii will be significantly less than PS3, and a little less than the 360. It won't be near as powerful, but is supposed to have very innovative gameplay with that funky controller.

It almost sounded like they were manufacturing two different versions, which doesn't make a whole lot of sense cost wise. You're really hurting yourself if you can't upgrade parts and you buy the *cheaper* one. But if the primo version is just the base with more doodads attached, you should be able to upgrade. My questions: Does that mean the base doesn't have the HDMI cable, or it is incapable of HDMI period (no HDMI Out)? Does it not have the ability to read the cards, or is the reader not built in and you have to add on? I'm guessing that it's like the 360, and the primo version is just the base with more Sony brand add-ons. Their sales pitch will be that for only $100 more you get $195 worth of add-ons, or something like that...

While I'm full-time Army, we still have to go in on the one weekend a month that all the non-mobilized guys do, so I had to work both days. After work Sunday afternoon we went out to the future in-laws in the 'burbs and I started installing a new Alpine in my fiancee's car. Got stuck on the steering wheel controls adapter and called it a night after eating some tasty Korean food with the fam. Left the car, came home, hung out with Jenny (fiancee) playing 360 'til about midnight (WAY TOO late). But fun...

I've tried to listen to several of those guys but didn't get hooked. And yes, M2, the Jurassic 5 guys do have some skills. I can't remember his name, but I like the dood with the low low voice.

The only allergy I have is to Claritin. Yes, Claritin, the allergy medicine. One year a long time ago when I was living in AZ I all-of-a-sudden got real bad allergies. They gave me some kind of nasal spray and Claritin. Well, turns out I am allergic to an allergy medicine. Lucky for me, I no longer have allergies (it only lasted a year). But, I'm probably still allergic to Claritin. I'm not about to try it just to find out - the reaction was that it made it REALLY hard for me to breathe.

If you go under Tools then Options then File Types in MP, you can select all the files that you want Media Player to be the default player for. You might even be able to have it check to see if it is the default player every time it starts, but I can't remember.

If I had to pick one of these guys, I'd pick Biggie. I don't think you can name just one "Best MC of All Time" though. There are too many styles. I have a hard time voting for someone who has great rhyme and flow skills if all they rap about is big booty chicks, smokin' dope, and their new ride or gat. I'll add a few nominees. How about Guru and KRS-One? I also have to mention the Beastie Boys because of their incredible longevity. How about Eric B and Rakim? Chuck D for message alone...? For me, when discussing the greatest MCs and DJs, it all depends on the style of rap and the music, and whether or not you take the substance of what they are saying into account. My friend and I discuss this every now and then. The last time we did it was like this: "If you were going to suggest to someone (who had never listened to rap before) 5 rap/hip-hop groups, who would it be?" The idea being to give them a well-rounded intro to the genre. I can't do it. I can't just give 5! I actually just got one. I took in my PSP (which I had only turned on once since I got back) and all my movies and games, and my xBox (which was just collecting dust) and all my games, and had enough in trade to get the premium 360 and a game. It is pretty sweet. I got GRAW, but haven't had any time to really play it. My buddy brought over Fight Night Round 3, and man is that game sweet on the 360. It doesn't seem to have a whole lot of replay value as a single player game, but the multiplayer rocks. We were laughing the entire time during our toe-to-toe slugfests. I'd recommend it, but I didn't have to spend any additional money on it - just traded in a bunch of stuff. I wouldn't have acquired it if I had pay $$ for it. I don't know how BF2 is on the 360, but my brother loves it on the PS2. I love it on the PC, but I think it's a slightly different experience and has different gameplay features on the consoles. I'd say get GRAW over BF2. What I have played of GRAW is amazing.
