Yeah any practice would help. Didn't help me that I haven't played that map in a long time, but we still would have done better if we'd practice. Also, HUGE thanks to Shep for bailing us out tonight. While I think the "May contain Canadians" is histerical, I had to go with Broadband of Brothers. I Love the implication that we're a brotherhood. I think that's one of the things that made last year's slogan Fellowship of the Ping. so good. Both "Fellowship" and "brotherhood" imply a gathering of family, or close friends who share commn interests or goals. That said, I'd also happily wear a shirt stating that it "might contain Canadians". lol

See here is where the weirdness started with me. I did the "startdemo" thing. the demo started, we got pwned (had fun though), they shut down the server, demo allegedly stopped. When I went back to watch the demo to see if there were any areas (many I'm sure ) where I could improve me play, the demo just stopped playing midway through the match. What if something horrible had happened after that point and we had had a legitimate complaint against the other team (we didn't, they were gracious hosts, even though they didn't let us win ) the demo would have been worthless because the video did not continue. Anyway, that's just what happened to my demo. Ask the others to see if their demos proceeded to the end of the match. Girlgamer, Michiganman, Nick, Anyone? Did any demos play the full time?

Personally, I'd have deleted this, and never given it another thought. Be extremely careful as you go down this path. You never know where it might end, or what it might take to extricate yourself from it if it goes south on you. Yeah, I got ouot and was ablle to enjoy the weather this weekend too. Went to scout camp with my nephews scout troop in Rogues Hollow. Wonderfull weather, except for the storm that rolled through this am as the scouts were taking down the dining fly, and packing up their gear. My gear was already in the truck and dry though. Then the scouts put their wet stuff on top of me dry stuff. Oh well, it was still a great weekend for a campout. Next up: Klondike Camp in late January.

Very possible. I don't know how long the vid playback was running, but the video did stop, but I could hear the sounds of the next round while looking at the stopped vid.

Well, it is true that we prolly do have far fewer than most clans. But this clan was originally started as a non-competetive clan, that was just for fun. Now as for the scrims. Yeah we really should be doing more. Those of us who played in the match last Friday night, were able to get together for a while prior to the match to go strats and whatnot. We tried to hold another scrim a few nights prior, but had a poor turnout and some server probs. While we did get pwned by Team Element, I do think we did quite well considering the lack of practice time, and that most of us hadn't played together other than in the pub servers. So, bottom line; yes we need more scrims. That could only help us take over the world. I; however, have a very busy schedule. I'll do my best to be at whatever scrims/matches the team(s) need me to be at, but there's no way I can say "I'm always available "x" night". Let me know in advance, and I'll let you know.
