Well you could decompile the .bsp files of the original HL maps. I can't remember right now though where you could find a decompile program, don't have mine anymore. Sure a google search would yield results. Still workin on it. Ill look thanks.

I have known people who would pull such a scam: Buy a new (component), open it, install it, return the old one in the new box. That was usually a key indicator that I needed to disassociate myself from those people. Personally, I see it as stealing. I've never pulled this scam myself. But, point is I always wondered what happened. It seemed to me they would be sold open-box at their discount. I felt sorry for the poor sons of guns who had to follow these guys unkowingly. Sorry it took so long to get restitution. Yes I would call it stealing and its also called fraud.

My copy was academic and cost about $900. Its for a class Im taking now. Like I said kinda spendy. The other versions are spendier. Holy Smokes!! Glad I got mine for a supposedly low price! $4000 for the 2007 version?!?!

Compared to some of the jerks Ive bought from on ebay, Id say thats a nice change. Not hard to be a decent person while selling stuff over the net. Glad to see nice people on it for a change.

But anyway Ive been playing FEAR a lot and have actually been playin a few of my older games like Descent Freespace 2 (new mods comin out for this one), I was deployed when GTA vice city came out so a friend just gave me his copy and I love it. Got to try worms 4 and started playing age of empires and civilization 4. Didnt used to like these games as I am a hardcore FPS and flight combat fan, but these games are actually pretty good.

Yea I guessed that sony may have somthing to do with the porting process. I just wondered why seperate companys like midway, namco and others dont make pc ports for some of their games. Im a big fan of ace combat series and the only one I ever saw that was ported was ace combat 1. Youd think they would automatically make a pc version when they make the console version. Any of you legal eagles out there know why?

Recently purchased autocad 2005 (kinda spendy). Im not a super expert at it becuz I only took basic CAD in college. Im told this is pretty much the best as far as CAD go's. What do you folks think. Is there anything else thats better?

I use a variety of converters for changing file from avi to mpeg to vcd, dvd etc. I like roxio and nero a lot as well as tmpeg and others. What do you guys use? Are they good, bad? What do you think are really the ultimate converter programs?
