I work for Sharp's, which recently took over Apex. I've worked alongside Stagevision guys and I hate them.

I sell my soul on a daily basis by making pompous self-important people bigger and louder. On some occasions, I am an enabler of brainwashing. I tend to absorb and quickly release a massive amount of information that I didn't need nor want in the first place. I have been told by various government officials that I am not to divulge any information I may have heard during their meetings, regardless of whether I actually understood what they were talking about or not. I have seen the insides of things that I hope never to see again. I look like a wizard when I hit just two buttons on a laptop to make it project to a 27 foot screen. And worst of all, my employer doesn't like my hair. I am an audiovisual technician, and I live with the shame everlasting.

I will also require the 3 digit number on the back of your credit card. I already have the actual card number. Also: Alex "X-LaxX" Harvey.

Also, don't take any of that the wrong way. If I didn't enjoy having you guys on the server, I wouldn't care enough to post anything.

This is completely ridiculous. For so minor an infraction (and yes, it is minor, doofus is a name that makes 4 year olds chuckle, come on) all you need is a "please don't call me that", or a "Seriously, don't talk to me like that". That's the kind of reaction I would have expected from an admin for something like this, if they happened to get offended. Obviously I wasn't there, so if there is any context I'm missing, feel free to fill me in. That being said, I don't think the reactions to this whole issue have been appropriate. Trash, regardless of whether or not you're rightfully or wrongfully banned/kicked, I really don't think sarcasm will get you anywhere, and I definitely don't think it's a good first step if there's to be any resolution to this. Fatty, after playing on the server with you last night and hearing you say bastard and damn repeatedly (think I even heard someone say poop, though I honestly can't remember if that was you or not, so if it wasn't, disregard that part), I doubt 'doofus' is really a kickable offense. Not that I'm saying I'm personally offended by bastard or damn, I'm just saying that some people might be, or the wrong impression is being given to new people of how we run the server. Seems a little hypocritical to me. Bottom line, I think there should be a kiss-and-make-up. And photos for blackmail purposes. My 2½ cents.

Congratulations buddy! 7 years? About time =P I wish at least one of you happiness for at least some of the time! No need to thank me. In all seriousness though, way to go man, I hope you have a long and happy life together. Train your children well in the way of the samurai.
