i'm in san mateo and raw is in mountain view, i'm totally down to do this whenever everyone else is.

we wanted to see how much interest we could generate on the inside first, but both of us are ok with making it open to the public. a separate forum for the PU night would be great. what about making a new forum in the general counter-strike source forums called "Community Events". we could have our own PU forum there and raw and i could moderate. if you don't think we'll have enough events, we can just throw it under the West FF CS:S - IMMUTABLE - San Jose forum. raw and i will pm you with the info for the PU night and we can start a new poll/thread there announcing the date and time. thanks, i like anything radiohead, those are pics of some of their band members... the images on the left are the members individually (my username) and then on the right one pic in a group (the gamers coalition tag.)

raw and i have been trying to get a pick up game going for once every week or every other week but at the moment we have 9 votes (including raw and me.) the server can hold 12 total so we can shoot for that at first. three more people would be nice, so if anyone else is interested, vote, reply to the thread and we'll totally get it off the ground. i'll talk to raw about it and we'll talk to wayfarer about when we can use the private server to host the event. maybe if we announce it, more people will participate. if that doesn't work i'm sure raw and i can take charge of something else.

i'm sorry for his loveable specialness everyone, at work i try to keep him locked up in cage... heavily sedated, but it doesn't always work.

i'm with witt... it's back on west now and things have gotten better.

ironic because i really don't like port and i love piranesi... i agree with witt on his suggestions and i think if we want to throw in another cs map we could add compound when are we going to add customs i miss the cpl maps?!?!

come to think of it, the private server might be a good idea. originally we were going to see if we could use the west coast server, but i don't know if we would want to shut down traffic for a couple hours one night a week. who could we talk to about the sched. for the gc twl team? any opinions on which server we should use? You could talk to me about GC TWL schedules I don't think shutting down one of the servers is a good idea, nor do I think it will fly. i used to play tribes 2 religously, and a team would post up in irc that they were hosting a PU for a night. people would join and have a lot of fun. it was better than a pub, not as serious as a match and the competition was great. thanks for the info way, raw and i will pm you for the schedule and work around the twl matches/practices. btw, all this talk about the twl team makes me want to play competitively again... gah! curse you! hehe so people if you see this thread and think you'd be interested... vote, post up and we'll get this started. from my experience, it can be a lot of fun and a great way to get to know people that you play with from time to time.

i'll start it off, i'd like to see it on Thrusday nights... we'll see how popular this gets. if everyone likes it, we'll set up a seperate forum for the event. start voting people!

umm definitely get milk tea... people don't always like the tapoica, but you can get it without em.

After the clean server we should mention FF: this is a clean server, no intentional FF FF is a huge issue that i don't think is covered enough by the server title text and i forgot to add it in the description.

yeah raw actually helped out with this last night.. dunno if he swapped people with mani but he did ask people to switch.

since ptbx isn't enabled, there have been some problems with teams occasionally being stacked. this hasn't really been intentional, i know a map went 5 rounds last night before anyone noticed that player switches weren't occurring. this is only really an issue when an admin isn't on, but i wanted to bring it to everyone's attention. if we could just try and remember to balance teams by joining spec and having someone swap, it'd make it more enjoyable for everyone... sometimes the team numbers are already unbalanced and a simple team switch can be done. thx for listening and thx to the members/admins that have helped with this lately.

really like the design... wanted to see what you thought about these ideas: (i took a typography class, so i hope these aren't too anal, apologies in advance if they are) awp.knife - server title text. make the "IMMUTABLE - FF - STOCK - 100 TIC" title text a complimentary color to the colors already in the image or simply lower the opacity of the text to show some of the background image. grass - server title text. make the "IMMUTABLE - FF - STOCK - 100 TIC" title text dark gray and bump down the opacity a bit. i like the clouds a lot and having the text blend into the background image would make the server info text pop a bit more. server info text - format. make this text lowercase, lowercase fonts are easier for the eye to read and since this image usually isn't on screen for a long time, you want the viewer to be able to make things out better at a glance. - content. i like a lot of how this was worded. i think we should also try to focus on what we do while on the server. here's a modification of what you used with more influence on what we stress: this is a clean server clean names, clean language, no bigotry. teamwork and objective based play is required microphone communication is preferred respect the admins, members, and other players failure to follow these rules can result in a ban enjoy your stay and add us to your favorites WE NEED YOU TO FRAG! ... in a friendly and competitive environment. find out more about us at: i really like the gamerscoalition text at the bottom and the e-thug line let me know what you think. edit. gogo proofreading and more modification!
