i live on the west coast (so time difference) and i usually go out to eat on saturday nights so by the time i get back (around 10pm, maybe later if there is a movie afterwards) its already over

well, if you ignore the $50 dollar mail in rebate (which i know is a big sum of money but i'm just going to go on the assumption taht mail-in rebates dont work enough for you to count on them, for my computer, i had 2 successes out of 4 for rebates) ... you can get http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16814186013 for 120 and according tom's hardware, its only less by 1.4 fps on the default benchmark (battlefield 2142) so using new egg's price... 8600 without rebate == 155 8600 with rebate == 105 7900 without rebate == 120 7900 with rebate == 100 if you count on the fact that rebates work, that extra 1.4 fps is going to cost you 5 dollars, if rebates dont work, 1.4 fps is going to cost you 35 dollars, which is quite expensive and when you buy the 8600, i think you should ditch the idea of playing games on dx10 cause you're not; i have an 8800GTS 320MB, which is a dx10 card, and i'm kinda sketchy on whether I can play dx10, judging from the benchmarks i've seen

if you want to play dx10 games, dont go with a 8600GT, its performance is horrendous so yes, you can run dx10 games but you'll be running them at 5 fps (well, not that bad but you get the idea) you might as well get a really good dx9 card and probably save some money and crank up the textures or bite the bullet and buy a solid dx10

you might actually get similar or better performance with a 512mb 7900 for a slightly less price....maybe

i think the map is office_pro but that's fun, adds more routes for the CT's to come in so its more fair and can we add rtv so when we vote for maps, we arent just presented with 3 choices: de_dust2, cs_office, cs_italy one last thing: can we make friday night a vote-your-map night where a thread opens from saturday morning to wednesday morning, and allows people to post map requests and then from wednesday night to friday morning, the maps are all gathered and set into a poll and the top 10 wins

Model No: 1905FP my monitor doesnt seem to have a model number out on the front so looking at the back, this is the closest thing to an identifier that i can find, unless you can tell me what to look for specifically; to give you more of an idea to help you identify it, its a 19-inch lcd and it is sitting on a half-circle swiveling rest; the panel is black and the swiveling rest thing is silver/gray the samsung monitor that i use at work is the Syncmaster 940Be the samsung monitor i use at home is the 226BW

speaking from just my experience, dell monitors are kinda crappy at work, i have 2 19-inch monitors, one dell and one samsung at first, i had the samsung one connected via VGA and the dell one via DVI and they both looked the same, more or less; then i had to change some stuff up because of my switchbox and the DVI went to the samsung and the VGA went to the dell and they were a world apart; the dell one was actually fuzzy and blurry on the desktop; of course, a normal user that didnt have the switchbox issue that i had could just use the DVI cable and be done with it but this just shows the quality difference between a samsung and a dell monitor with that in mind, i'll make the assumption that with playing games, with the dell monitor you'll get a "good" picture while with a samsung, you'll get an exceptional picture i might be biased because i am using a samsung at home

CS-LSA go blue! Also, stacking like that was the biggest reason they got rid of it in source zester. You can stack five high in the basement of nuke and defuse the bomb in the upper bombsite, or all sorts of shenanigans. haha, i graduated cs-lsa also (only downside is you have to take foreign languages and i believe for the year after mine, you have to be "accredditted" in science or some bs) i'm not sure what year you're in but you should really really take eecs381 with t-rex kieras; its the best possible class its a shame my favorite prof who taught eecs 398 left to go work in industry this past year at the same time as my graduation
