  1. Anyone know the reason Intel slashed the prices of their quads by such a large margin? Will they be doing so for their duos, say, sometime before August?
  2. I haven't A joke a day keeps the doctors away Thanks!
  3. Thanks a lot Dark. In fact, I think I'll just not bother with it. Found too many forums with users having so much problems with it, that it's not worth the trouble. Thanks again!

  7. Anyone played GoW PC on XP? Erodes told me he was able to play it on Vista after killing all other background processes. I'm running on XP SP 2. I've updated the game to the latest patch that was released on March 3rd 2008. After installing the patch, the problems start: The game crashes and exits to Windows right before the main menu. While launching the game (by clicking startup.exe on my desktop), I get the error message "Click Startup.exe to run" Or if anyone got it to run on Vista, please let me know how too, even if you had to do what Erodes did. If this is the case, I might just switch to Vista... urghh Thanks a lot in advance

  11. Dang buddy, sorry to hear about your misfortunes. You and dweezil have a point though. It is quite strange that they died. But moving closer to family is great I wish you all the best *gives slap to the back*. Things'll brighten up, you'll see

  14. There's no clear cut good/evil. E.g. at one point, you'll have to decide whether to kill someone, but it's not so clear that that person deserves to be killed, as there are evidence that points both ways. And your choices do influence the outcome of the story (there are key scenarios where your actions during these determine the story's path). Yeah, my roommate tried the demo and he didn't like it either, hence do try it before committing to buying the game.
  15. I like how you don't always have a clear-cut "right" path to choose. Also, there's a mod somewhere that changes the dialog (which has been altered to cater to the masses) to the original text, which does a better job at explaining the story. My only complain is that most of the time, you're forced to stick with your two swords, which kinda defeats the purpose of it being an RPG. Edit: I'd definitely go with the demo. It'll really give you a sense of what to expect.
  16. Totally off topic, but just noticed that it was Kimble's first post Welcomes
