  1. Some people are experiencing them. A lot of people with older hardware are CtD a lot. I have CtD twice, which isn't much considering I have played it a lot the last few days. The main buggy part is the routing. You have to be very careful how you lay your track because on the 'hard' routing system and even on the 'medium' trains will get stuck when there is a viable route for them because of a crossover. I just make it a point to not route a lot of trains on one track and I usually don't have a problem. It really takes some getting used to and I hope they can improve it through patches.
  2. The game is buggy but I still love it. Just played my first multiplayer game and did very well. If any of you guys get it let me know and we can setup a multiplayer game.
  3. Wow, the ultimate geek cry of inadequacy!
  4. What should we do with public threats like this?
  5. The idea of the show looked cool. The way the have implemented is good. Watched it last monday and it was really interesting. But I was hoping it would be more of a family friendly show. Too racy for me.
  6. This story is heart wrenching. I can undertand where the mother is coming from. But the boy is already messed up enough, this can only make his case worse. Just a sad story all around.
  7. That would be like me playing a game of building a house.
  8. I am a member of MOOJC. Make Only Obvious Jokes Coalition. Please take the time to visit our website and read our manifesto. THank you!
  9. Yeah, build railroads. Buy and develop industries. Possibly buyout competitors with hostile takovers.
  10. Don't know why but I am very excited about this game. Last game I got this excited about was Civ4 which is a strong indication that I have pretty much left the action genre behind But you can check out the brand new official website at http://www.2kgames.com/railroads/railroads.html If you want to check out a good in game video go to http://www.worthplaying.com/article.php?si...ead&order=0
  11. I love it when you do these, Bub. Except for the fact that I still have projects still unfinished that I was working on when you ran those 'basement' and 'backyard patio' episodes. I may be slow but at least I don't achieve a very high quality.
  12. Very good game. Simple yet a little strategic.
  13. and what would you call his mother....
  14. The swear filter earned it's keep on THAT post! Hilarious! A trucking musician... Trying to think of ways to 'play' a truck.
  15. When you say taunt, what do you mean? Steve seemed like a really great guy. My kids loved to watch him.
  16. <wipes a tear> How quickly they mature right before our eyes! And also thanks for your service!!
  17. So can you still do that?
  18. Primus' poetry really sucks as delicate as 4x4 trucks as nimble as a 800 lb gorrilla as colorful as the color manilla as rythmic as a green cadaver but effort?... he has 'er! :-)
  19. Belugas are awesome. The ones at the Shedd aquarium will 'talk' with you. Just started making noises like they do and a couple of them stopped and looked me over and started clicking and 'shreiking' back.
  20. We rode all the wooden ones in a row, pretty much. 1. Mine ride 2. Mean Streak 3. Gemini 4. Blue Streak (I think this is wooden) I didn't ride this one, Caught a nap on a bench in front of the sports bar thingy. All of the wooden made me queasy. Not bad but just a little off in the head. (no wiseacre comments). I tell you I'm a wuss anymore. Its like I have to ration my thrill rides. So I'm just going to skip any small ones from now on. I remember Gemini from 10 years ago being a much smoother ride. Another funny thing that happened was on the Gemini. On all the big roller coasters they made me take my hat off. They didn't say anything so I figured it would be alright. On the first hill there goes my hat. Figured it lost for good but the guy behind me caught it! He had his hands up. Hope it didn't hit him in the face :0
  21. We stayed for 12 hours :ack: Plus the two and half hours there and two and half hours back. I could hardly stay awake for the drive back. The crowd wasn't bad for the 4th. Pretty much could have rode anything we wanted. It got crowded toward the late afternoon. It's funny but the smaller wooden coaster made me queasy. As a kid I could ride them all day long but not now. But the MF is so smooth it hardly affects me. We did ride it again, Chief, with my hands firmly attached to the hand bar.
  22. I sent this in an email to my family and copied it in here. Obviously most of you know about Cedar Point and Millenium Force. It was a great day and a great ride. CP looks great after dark and the fireworks were awesome!
  23. Source is having a 'free' weekend I heard.
  24. Maybe he could plead momentary inebriation. I'm sure mrX could make the case!
