Tek, I would have to disagree with you about CS vs other games. From my experience less CS players are geeks than other computer games (now thats the important point...computer). I've met a lot of people that I've played CS with, and more than you would expect fall into the not geek category. Compare us to say...Evercrack Players or, gawd forbid, Dark Age of Camelot. These guys...wow...total geeks...every one of them. Of course, the overall computer game players are bigger geeks than video game players...but we all knew that.

Mags, IMHO living together before marriage is a definate must. Even if you spend 80% of your time with your prospective wife before marriage, its that last 20% that make or break a marriage. Living with an Ex is what saved me from a failed marriage. That last 20% is the tiems when they don't want to be seen...when their makeup isn't on or their hair looks bad...when they are having a bad day...and when they are themselves. This Ex I lived with was able to put on a false image for me for almost a year, and we prolly spent half of our awake time together. After we moved in, she couldn't hide the fact that she was a heinous witch from me...and I realized who she really was. Thats from the protect yourself spectrum. The other side is how much fun it is. Living with my girlfriend is the greatest thing in the world. We really act like we are married for all instensive purposes...including finances and major decisions, and this is really the next big step. The other thing, is if you live together you split one rent instead of paying 2. When Carolynn had an apartment, she paid rent on a place that we only went on weekend. Kind of a waste. Ok, I'm rambling. I think I've made my point...need more coffee to overcome this long Monday.

I speak English somewhat fluently. I used to be fluent in Latin. I used to be fluent in Texican (a mixture of English and poor spanish that is spoken by many immigrants in...yes, you guessed it Texas). I know a good bit of french, a little bit of german, and am learning Korean from the cleaning guy in my building at work (who is korean). I also am fluent in Java, C++, Visual Basic, Perl, and HTML

i gotta agree with Mr Fatty on everything...except this one point. No woman will ever come between me and my sports car. Lucky for me, my love loves my love of cars...in fact she has said on many occassions that she cannot imagine me w/out one. Honestly though...when you are with the right one and the time is right, you will have no questions. If you have any doubts at all about her or the time...the its not right and you should wait.

Lunk.... 1. Install Older OS...or XP pro. XP Home sucks donkey balls. 2. Don't overclock. I know it sounds good but chances are with the system you spec'd that what is slowing your system down is not the CPU, so overclocking will simply shorten the life of your mobo, cpu. 3. Goto XP Tweak.com like ZD sugguested. Vastly improves the performance of your pc. What kind of RAM and Hardrive do you have?

So I was at work REALLY late last knight tryin to fix a bug in my code for a project that I have a thursday 10AM deadline. This bug had been killin me for weeks but I hadn't had to fix it yet (since it was clearly definable) and thus hadn't. Now I had too... So I am working...workin...workin... Well I track it to one chunk of code which send me to another ( I was at work for like 16 hrs yesterday on this one bug). Finally I get to the guilty chunk of code...a 3 pivot sorting algorithm that is nasty...I wasn't too sure if it worked when I wrote it but it appeared to...soo... I look over it over and over last night...System.out.println this, println that...tryin to figure out why it stops sorting properly after the first 5 object... So I leave last knight very frustrated. I come in this morning, fresh start (not really...didn't sleep well). Have cup of life in my hand start looking... Then my eyes are immediately drawn to the offending line of code: for(a=0;a<5;a++) //for (a=0; a < theCountyData.size(); a++) Oops. Remove the debug line. Replace with the actual line. 16.2 hrs of wasted time fixed. Utter Stupidity...

Hey yall, I tried to get on CS this morning and discovered that I had been banned. Now, I was playing last night, said goodnight to everyone and left. Today, I come in and see that I have been banned. Earlier last night Mags accidentaly banned me when attempting to ban a kid that was cussing on the server, but he unbanned me and I continued playing. I think my WONID is 952058 (i didn't have the right number...this is the one that comes up on status). Please just let me know why I've been banned and I can attempt to make amends. Thanks, Whittie.

I got this. 1. Final Fantasy Tactics. Basic, easy to figure out game...and then you get sucked into the job system and the classes and the level and the skill points...all the while your cute kid-like characters walk around and kill people. 2. I hate to do a double shot but.....Final Fantasy 9 - I cried at 2 different parts of the game...ME!??!?! A Big tough guy...cried...I've only ever cried in 3 movies...and I cry in a video game...come on!?!? NEways FFIX. 3. Bust A-Move 4 - Called the Bubble game by my circle of friends. Amazingly addictive to everyone...absolutely everyone. My mom has played it...and will gladly pick up a controller at any moment. My girlfriend, who detests video games (but she kindly give me cs time) plays it. I've actually had peeps over at my place chillin for a preparty that turned into an all night Bubble Game fest. Its a PS1 game...there are other versions, but Bust a Move 4 is the best. 4. A close tie - Xenosage and Kingdom Hearts - Xenosaga is a RPG that the graphics are so good it almost looks and plays like a movie. Some of the shots are absolutely breathtaking. KH is a SquareSoft/Disney game. Looks and plays like a cartoon. There is nothing cooler than having Donald Duck and Peter Pan...looking exactly like they do from the movie fighting off bad guys with you...its amazing. The entire darn thing...it just looks like a Disney movie.

That would be scary. Of course (I'm not trying to put your choice of vehicle down or anything Lunk)...what I find amazing is the fact that the Gang Bangers AND the soccer moms desire the same type of rides. I don't believe so. I'm not terribly well informed about the specifics of the hummer. I just have read that in R&T and C&D. To be honest, I think that the Hummer is an oversized suburban warfare device driven primarily by soccer moms as they carouse the neighborhoods annihilating everything in their path and gang bangers that put bling bling rims on the thing and 1000 watt sound systems outside of the car...like Shaq does with his in O-town (yes I've seen it and yes Shaq does own a H2). Of course, that's just my opinon...everyone is entitled to their own opinoin evne those that are wrong.

Correction...Hummer H2 is not an SUV. It weighs to much (>8000 pounds) to be classified as a light truck which is the classification that SUV's fall into. It falls into the class of Commerical Vehicle...hence the no milage numbers on the sticker (and it gets about 7 mpg). Of course, I think it qualifies as Consumer Tank.
