"Please let me know if you need help moving" The server is as active as ever, it's debatable if we should even put Bukkit back (don't worry, I fully intend to). Don't really want to bother with a buggy dev version, since there should be a beta build coming soon.

I agree this is very presumptuous and shady... I'm relying on Chick to scout and find an acceptable spot to put her build. Please be more considerate and make this sort of thing in the future a request, not an eviction notice.

Added The_Dude_GC to the whitelist Added znavy264 to the whitelist I have the old world saved on my pc, so with minimal help I should be able to find your stuff in the old world. What I really need is XYZ coordinates in the new world, which you can get using the debug info (press f3 in-game). If possible, try and pick a spot at least 300 blocks from spawn, and try and scout it out to see if other players are already settled nearby. We need to be considerate n' whatnot.

It's not really about the difficulty (though I'm pretty sure some people are going to die ), it's just so as many people as possible get included this time--it's a one-time fight. We started a new survival world, so... yes the Ender-Ender is gone, sadly.

Let's plan to log on for this at 11pm Eastern on Saturday, since that option had the most votes. Looking forward to it!

People fear change.. I think nuking 'mains' from orbit will be a good move. One less obstacle for the noobs to worry about, plus everyone's progress counts on every chapter.

From the result of the poll (thanks everyone that voted), we now have a new world!! The server is whitelisted to keep things safe until at least a Beta version of Bukkit 1.6.1 is released. I'm taking requests for what buildings people want moved over into this world (I have the old one backed up). It is a bit of work to move things, but I need two things from you: What to move, and rough x, y, z coordinates in the new world. If you're fine just starting from scratch, all the better! Once Bukkit is back, I'll be adding a 'Creative' for anyone who wants to use that. It will be normally generated (not superflat), which should provide plenty of nice scenery.

There's already a hierarchy set in place, with the next step up above contributor being server admin. Don't see why we would add in some sort of midway point between the two, not really seeing any point there. Anyone that can be trusted with the sm_kick and sm_ban command is probably also trustworthy enough to be a server admin, IMO. If the community feels there is a serious need for more admins, well I guess it's time to ask "Hmm, I wonder where admins come from?"

Going to be a few days before anything happens with the server--have to wait until there's a functional version of Bukkit, since we have quite a few Bukkit plugins on the server. Just sit tight, it won't be long meow.
