The map that decides the winner has no shooting or anything....its all the luck of the spawn. You just stand there.....people start dying. If you're the last one left....you win! Operation S.A.D., or San Appreciation Day was a success. Thanks to everyone who joined and showed him your warm and definitely unwelcome show of support whether it be charges, hunts, or tanks. Hell has frozen and pigs are flying. San`is actually playing L4D2. I think as an act of goodwill to one our board members who watches over the servers, sometimes in the shadows, perhaps we can run some custom campaigns tomorrow? Run them all. Let's do it. It's been a while. Variety is the spice of L4D2 after all. He hasn't played them so this will be fun for all involved. If you don't, you're basically spitting in his face and that's not nice.

Perhaps a side achievement to group shower but for rocket boomers. I know that achievement is mainly achieved through rocketing but I think it should be rewarded if that is possible for the system to recognize that.

Secondly, why aren't you still choking>_> For a campaign like Swamp Fever which is "hard" by other campaign standards, a team is going to need...hmm, what's that word people seem to forget to apply? OH. TEAMWORK. The talent pool has dried up a little so trying to use teamwork nowadays is a chore and a half. A /lot/ of players lack that and thus Swamp Fever is nearly unplayable. You YOLO chargers and jockeys know who you are both newbies and regulars.

Carlos, Swamp Fever is as bad as people make it out to be. That one map in middle spoils the bunch. Water, water, water, open spaces, open spaces, open spaces. Yeah, great map. I can't think of any singular good part about the airplane map at all. Map 1 and the finale are the only maps worth playing in the campaign. All reasons for finding this campaign a drag have been touched on. Actually, the Shantytown map is also pretty good. So, there are 3 good maps out of 4? Map 2 is the campaign killer, imo. Cold Stream is great but under played. I only agree to vote map because it clears the server? Why? Probably because players can't hack it. It's just as viable as any other campaign besides Swamp Fever. Don't run. You'll have fun if you actually stick around to play it. Crash Course is pretty fun, too. Too bad it clears the server. Again, I only vote map because it clears the server. And lastly, you don't have to play with bots. Why would you want to play with bots? Go play some other game or start your own listen server if you want to try out btw techniques.

Have you taken into account how many experienced players frequent the server? Essentially, this will "have" to be a members only kind of event or else the new people will get slaughtered early on, get bored, then leave. Server starts getting empty, more new people join, experienced players leave, then eventually everyone leaves. Look at Custom Campaign night. Same pattern. Also, is Jackie or Crasx around to see if this is viable on the server?

Nah, the new people aren't troublemakers. They're just ignorant. Experience will help with that. Until then, if you continue to play, be as patient as you can stand and let the server handle the rest. Natural selection and all that. We're the ones that didn't get weeded out. We stuck it out look at where we are now. I'm not so sure about that new horses, Carlos. I've been seeing the same handful of new people around. Also, a lot of regulars have seemingly disappeared and only reappear if there is a special night going on. So...if anything the watering hole is full of stagnant water. This time last year was absolutely bonkers up until back to school time in August/September. Did better games come out this year? People getting tired of the same old same old? Things HAVE been pretty much the same the past two years.
