Wow, I haven't heard someone mention FTB in about a decade. Nostalgia.

I used them. One of them was my AWP setup with full money (8k+). The other three were various combinations of armor and grenades. I found it very useful. (For example, just one button to rebuy all my grenades. Or another button after I won a round in which didn't have armor which bought armor and grenades). I didn't rely on them the whole time, and I could press the digits with the best of them (remember when you had to buy ammo?), but they were helpful at times.

I assume we'd play H2H category, not rotisserie; but it is open for debate if we get enough interest.

The server is healthy enough to sustain piranesi. Period. (Remember when people thought rats would kill the server? I have never been playing on the server with more than 10 people, where when we went to rats, and the server emptied out. Never.) We need to start adding more maps to the votelists because people are starting to complain, and they're right. It feels like we play the same 5 maps on repeat. Sure every once in a while we go to rats or skylands, but usually by the time 5 maps have gone by, there has been enough player turnover to vote for D2 or Nuke again, even though we just played it 4 maps ago.

Does anyone have any interest in a GC fantasy baseball league? I think we'd at least 10 players. I'm playing in two leagues already, but I figured if there were enough interest here, it could be fun to have a GC league. (PS I'm starting a new thread because the other one is over 5 years old)

I'm a Bostonian, so this hits pretty close to home. My family that works downtown left immediately and are home safely. This is a sad event, and I've been phoning/texting/chatting all my loved ones who were in the area and so far they're all safe. The server is jam packed for 5+ hours every Friday and Saturday night, and probably Thursdays too. Saturday night customs are a must-attend event for people that know about the server. The cause of san's post is not that the server has been abandoned, but rather that our early/midweek activity has become marginal. There is still plenty of interest in CS:GO pubbing, and all it takes is a little effort to make it thrive.

Sounds great. That's a reasonable time and having a full pub is both important to the community and pretty darn fun. See you GC members in there!
