  1. With the game supposed to be released in about 3 weeks and open beta is not here yet I think the release date is probably going to be pushed back. It's either that or the open beta is pure marketing strategy which would last about a week just to get you pumped up enough to go out and buy it.
  2. It's only a matter of time before they nerf those traits on undead because they are truly a massive advantage. It's either that or they are going to have to give all the other races some amazing traits.
  3. All the griefer type players will go horde and play undead characters which have a massive advantage over any character in beta currently. Until they nerf them they can whoop anyone ingame except for a pally/priest but still then again you play an undead warrior and are invincible. They need to remove their traits. Undead: Underwater Breathing, Immune to Charm, Fear & Sleep and Shadow Resistance. Half the maps are water and you can just run into the water to escape a pvp battle and the whole game is based on fearing the other player in pvp so without being able to be feared an undead character is pretty much unstoppable. It's why horde in beta is about 80% undead.
  4. This is what it is about: ABOUT THIS SITE: Thank you for your interest in Moretosee.com. Moretosee.com is the central point in a story of intrigue, greed and double-cross that will be unfolding across television and the web over the next few months. It is also the place to get the most comprehensive and up to date information on the full line of Sharp AQUOS Liquid Crystal televisions. You are obviously an intelligent and curious individual because you have found the site very early in the story. Rest assured, over the coming weeks and months there will be much more to see. Please bookmark the site and come back often to see how the story is unfolding. Your curiosity will be rewarded in the end… nudge nudge wink wink. Sincerely, The Sharp AQUOS team
  5. Wisconsin is a good team but they won't win the national championship so don't count on that. I still think Michigan is the best team in the Big Ten but it's not by much after Wisconsin's nice showing today. It's too bad they don't play each other. If they tie (record wise) Wisconsin will win the Big Ten though because of how they calculate the ties.

  7. General is right that sex offenders are everywhere. The records of sex offenders are public record and each county should have a list of them. I can see all the ones around here by simply logging onto my county's website and looking them up. You'd be amazed at how many there are.
  8. Just look up an ascii chart and then find out what character translates to the alt+# configuration. like alt+145 = æ

    EQ2

I'm glad you have the chance to finally play both. I know a couple people in EQ2 beta that said they liked it but they didn't have WoW beta so it's hard to judge when you don't have a comparison. I will go to WoW because I like pvp (main reason) and it is really well done with the quests and leveling being split up enough to not make it redundant. WoW open beta is coming soon according to their website so everyone should at least be able to experience it first hand to make their decision. I don't know if EQ2 is going to do an open beta or not.

    Need an idea

Trouble actually suggested what I was going to say. In 3 different weddings that I was in I received a beer mug with either my name or initials engraved on them. I use them quite often. The other weddings I was in I don't even remember what I received. I think the last one in April my friend just gave us each a $100 chip to go gamble with but he got married in Vegas so it kind of fit the environment.
  11. If you want to play it keep a watch at http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/ as they announced that open beta is coming soon.
  12. I just retired from CS but I'm still around. I usually read the boards a lot but don't post too often.
  13. Yeah, that would be annoying to type all that in to log in.
  14. I was figuring they wouldn't get discovered because somehow when they crashed they went through a time warp or something along those lines where they'd have an explanation for not being able to communicate with anyone.

    EQ2

Positive. Here is the response from the FAQ at the EQ2 website. Will there be player-versus-player (PvP) combat? Just as the original EverQuest was geared towards PvE (player vs. environment), EverQuest II has a similar focus. There are currently no plans for player vs. player combat in EverQuest II.

    EQ2

EQII has less hype since it's for carebears. They have no plans currently for player vs. player combat. Most people I know tend to sway towards pvp thus the popularity of WoW. I'm sure EQII will be good in it's own right it just depends on what type gaming experience you are looking for. If you want those type graphics you better have a top of the line computer to push them though otherwise you aren't going to be looking at anything near that good.
  17. Rapists fault but she's still a whore.

    EQ2

I think that is part of the reason that WoW has so much hype because it is something fresh and new. EQII rather is just a better looking EQ. Just a few more bells and whistles but basically the same game at the ground level. It's worked for EQ for a while but I know a ton of EQers that are looking for something other than EQ to play in the future.

    EQ2

They are both scheduled for Nov 15th release. I haven't heard too much about EQII though. The hype is all for WoW at the moment and everyone I know that has beta'd it said it was great. Tons of stuff to do in it. EQ is no middle ground usually. Either you like it or hate it.

    BAH!!!!!!!

Being that I am currently unemployed I can tell you exactly what to expect. The unemployment laws were changed since Nubus was out of a job as he mentioned with Bush passing some laws. You can expect 51 weeks of unemployment pay and then can apply for an extension. I would imagine that you'd get some sort of severance from your company as well so you might be able to extend your time period for the job search. Hopefully it won't take you that long to find a job and the economy is bouncing back so I wish you the best. As far as unemployment pay you can expect to get like 60-70% of what you were making. The only way you wouldn't qualify for it was if you were fired with just cause or if you quit. Otherwise you should be fine. The laws for it are definitely tailored for the employee side not the employer side. To get unemployment you just have to at least apply to one job a week during the entire time you make a claim for it. You just write it down in a little book and keep track of it in case they ever audit you which is highly unlikely. The applications don't have to be in person. If you send a resume in via the internet that works too so it's fairly easy to find at least once place to apply each week. It only takes a phone call to get enrolled and then you phone in every 2 weeks so state you were looking for a job, you didn't work during that time, etc. It's an automated system and takes like 5 min for the call tops. Good luck with the job search!!
