Crap, I have a BFG Video Card that I just bought last week that is affected by this. I just verified the address... Well I've already opened it, guess I can try talking to Newegg to see if they have any ideas.

Ditto on newegg.com. Great site with excellent deals and lots of user review info. Also if you watch their prices you can catch great deals on certain days. Also they often have deals on shipping and instant rebates (wouldn't be surprised to see the others also do as well though).

I had planned to buy it, but changed my mind and have it on my XMas list from my parents. Figure with Wrath of the Litch King, a new computer I'm building now and a new HD LCD TV in 2 weeks I have enough to keep me busy for awhile. Still, I can't wait to check the game out.

We have been seeing this in some cases the past couple weeks with maps. I'm not sure what is causing it yet, maybe related to sv_pure but I will check with Mookie. We have been making some changes for various reasons unrelated to Mapnight lately and it could be related to one of those. I don't think it is a clientsite issue since it seems pretty widespread.

I've looked at several maps this weekend but have not been able to find any we should try. We'll still run through some of the maps we have, but it doesn't look like any new ones tonight unless anyone else has found any.

Be interested in hearing how that program works out for you clue, I'm thinking of turning my current machine or my new one I'm gonna build into a Media PC as well.

Hm, might have to try that. I'm gonna ask around at work too and see if anyone there has UVerse as well. Would like to know of anyone that has used it and what they think of the service.

I've beaten the game for the jedi ending, have not done the sith ending yet (yes there are 2 endings for those that do not know)!!! Regarding what you said about the Jedi, other games (Jedi Knight series especially) and novels have revealed that several Jedi survived through the time period. Basically the movies just alluded to that Yoda and Obiwan were the only ones known to survive. But if all you know about is yourself, you kinda are the only one to survive. Overall i really enjoyed teh game too, as you said it fills gaps in the story between ep III and 4 and does it nicely. There is definately the question about what happens to Kota since we never see anything of him in the later movies (sequall game perhaps...?).

There are times during fights where I've found it helpful to be able to move the camera as I'm fighting.

Thanks preacher, good to know. I have had vista home premium on my laptop since April last year and haven't had any issues. Ultimate is basically business + media center and a few other features. I haven't decided if I want the media center stuff, probably depends what kind of video card I get. At some point I do want to make a PC to connect up to my TV for recording shows and whatnot since I don't have a DVR.

I picked it up today for my 360. So far I'm liking it, the story is good and interesting and the combat is fun. I haven't gotten too far, but so far enjoying it. Just wish it wasn't $60 to buy, seems like games just keep going up. I will say they did a pretty good job of integrating the force powers and giving you a lot of variety. There are lots of combos you use to make different moves and abilities. Also the reward system for learning new powers is pretty cool. It really forces you to experiment to make the most out of your character's abilities.

So as the title said I am planning to build a new PC in the next 2 months 9basically want to have it up by the time the new WoW expansion comes out roughly. I'm debating a few things such as SLI or not, how high to go on processor and DDR2 or DDR3. Any suggestions? I've started doing a little research and so far it sounds like DDR3 isn't worth the expense currently unless you are planning some overclocking. I'm not sure about whether SLI is worth it since I don't have any friends using it either. I may pick up other games in the near future too depending on what they are and my interested, so even if WoW wouldn't benefit I may still consider SLI assuming it is worth it. I've already decided to go with Vista 64bit for the OS unless I find some major reason to not do so. Thinking either 4 or 8 GB's of ram since RAM is fairly cheap right now. So any thoughts out there from those that have built PC's recently or following the technologies?
