So what exactly is the catch? Obviously they won't pay you for doing nothing, at least I assume that's the goal they have in mind? Is it so they can use your processing power for something, or just to surf sites or something ?

My last name is Berge, which gives me the spelling that often has people telling me that my nic is spelled wrong. Way back about 7 or 8 years ago when I was in 9th or 10th grade phy ed, my teacher who was also the varsity football coach and trying to recruit me into football started calling me "Ice" and "Ice_Berge." I think part of it was that I'm a big guy and was perfect for offensive and defensive line in football. No-one could push past me and then had a helluva time blocking me. Ever since I've stuck with the name. I have used "Nemesis" from time to time, that was started from Star Trek: Nemesis, but I've gone back to my orig name.

I've only had 1 chance to play it, I look forward to playing it more though. From what I saw the map is fairly fun, the lare size and openess of it is a nice shift from some other traditional maps where you're more closed in. I think it should stay for now. It could always be scapped later.

Is anyone else noticing that post times seem to make no sense and are off by many hours today? Somehow I posed a reply in the Rec forum's at 12:55 pm AFTER Fatty posted at 3:50 pm. Yet I made this post at about 6:30 pm in reality. I checked my settings and the time was correct for me.

I started taking an in game one, but had to stop after awhile due to lag. If anyone would like me to upload mine if they're working on a video I'd be happy to accomodate. BTW, just don't forget me when you win an oscar

I'm personally against Prodigy because I feel it's too choked, granted w/o snipers it isn't as bad but I still don't care for the map. I would like to see Piranesi and Chateau added if everyone feels it's time. I think that chateau is definately open enough and has more options than prodigy. Oh, and of source I'd like to see Tides

Steam does have the option to back up your games files. I assume this would backup everything you need to play but never tried it. Of course this means you'd already have to have it downloaded to back it up...

hm, exactly how powerfull is your case's power supply? I know the 6800gt series need a 400 Watt or more. I have a 420 and so does my friend, mentioned above, that has a BFG 6800 gt.

I have the 3200+ and my friend just built his with the 3400+ that you have picked out. Work's great!

Funny how people complain when they can't swear, it's like they think they're rights are being restricted. Last I checked swearing wasn't in the constitution, the bible or game manual. If you feel that you MUST swear to have fun, then you're welcome to go somewhere else. THere will always be people who believe that you don't NEED to swear just to have fun. One last question, does swearing make you feel better, smarter, more mature, cooler?

66.93 ( think that was the last released version when I checked their site about a week or 2 ago. I played around with some of the beta versions for awhile but wasn't able to get any improvement, and in some cases I saw worse performance.

Awesome movie, the black and white was a nice touch too!

Sounds like a bug in the game engine. Chalk another one up to Valve :|

Hey, I have the exact same card and some of the problems you have. I've been able to get things to work better by doing the following: 1) Max out the antialiasing in the nVidia options (I know it sounds counter intuitive, but trust me it will give you an fps boost) 2) Set the HL2/CS:S video options shader to low. I don't notice much of a difference in quality and my video runs so much better. It seems that eVGA cards have a tough time with this, or at least our model does. You should also a notice a significant improvement on de_prodigy in the CT_spawn with that flashing/sparking light. The first options seems to work on a number of newer cards, I'm not exactly sure why it works, but it does. Also as Zerodamage said, make sure vSync is completely off. nVidia has the annoying habbit of always turning this back on whever you update your drivers.

Out of curiosity, why are you selling? Upgrading, don't use anymore, etc...

Maybe this should start as something small, and if it stays popular enough then build it up. Maybe do something like just 4 or 5 weeks long for the first time. You know, keep it simple for now.

The bots seemed to be working OK on Mayhem last night. It would put up to 8 on until 8 people had joined.

I'd have to say the colt too, but then I'd say it really comes down to what situation you're in. The colt is more accurate spraying, while the AK works better for burst if you can use it right.

No one ever did answer what uE stood for? Or at least I missed it. ALso could we maybe do this sort've like every 2 weeks or something. Make it into a regular thing were we go 10 v 10 on different maps with random teams?
