  1. They sure came back this year after creaming the Lions! My condolances, because the Lions finally looked like they turned it around this year before they got beat by the Pack and went into a tailspin. GO PACK GO! I really hope they beat the Eagles this week (and not get too beat up in the process). This has the look of a great game.
  2. Must have been something with steam. The game worked fine today, but didn't work at all yesterday even after I restarted my computer numerous times. Whatever.
  3. Blech that was so awful I had to leave. Things became progressively laggier as the game went on before we switched to that map though, so I don't know if it was the map specifically. When are more maps coming out? Deathmatch rocks! The radiator toss was particularly effective.
  4. The same thing happened to me yesterday. I am going to try to play again today as soon as I get home. If I still can't play, I am going to give their tech support line an earfull.
  5. I couldn't help myself. Here is the image in my profile in in blow'd up format for your pleasure!
  6. A giant picture of me. Feel free to use it as your wallpaper! Of course, there is a much better picture of me in my profile. Feel free to check it out.
  7. http://www.cnn.com/2004/SHOWBIZ/TV/11/30/t...s.ap/index.html It is a sad day for America I really didn't think it was possible. Now please go on "Who Wants to Be a Millionare" and pick up where you left off in Jeopardy.
  8. It hasn't snowed yet where I live, but I think it's going to get mighty cold soon. Already the ground was frozen hard this morning. And there always seems to be a week or 2 when it gets down below minus 20. I just hope its in January instead of December this year.
  9. Old enough to get drafted but not old enough to drink a beer. Edit: And wise beyond my years. Nyuk Nyuk!
  10. He could land on a mattess...
  11. Man I was going to post a nuclear bomb but it just seemed so obvious! But I guess that's what you would need to kill a Skywalker. What better to fight the cold war with than Ronald Regan!! And no pictures of John Hinckley, as he was unable to "defeat" Regan.
  12. I have no idea what is going on, but it somehow seems relevant.
  13. Well, I guess we won't have to argue about this anymore, because Wisconsin got stomped
  14. 40% of us have Staphylococcus aureus in our noses, the pathogen that causes staph infections. Introducing any pathogen into your system unnecessarily is dangerous, especially if you are fighting another infection at the time.
  15. We run a pretty tight ship here. Yes, we can be pretty intolerant of swearing and questionable names. But that's where we have carved out a niche for ourselves: with cleanly run, well-maintained (and admined) servers. We are still able to attract the best and most mature Onslaught players to our servers with our 'strict' rules. Heck you can still trash talk, but now need to be a bit more creative with your insults (because you aren't allowed to swear) Just remember, there are a TON of other servers to play on if you don't like ours. Cheers.
  16. This is why I hate the BCS system. Even if Wisconsin wins out, WE WILL NEVER FIND OUT WHO IS REALLY THE BETTER TEAM. They really need to change the bowl system into a top-10 playoff system, or something to that effect. The Big 10 is a tough conference too, no matter what their records. Wisconsin defense hasn't faced a challenge? Wasn't Purdue held to 17 points after averaging 55 in it's first 5 or 6 games (and was ranked 5th)? Minnesota was held to 17 minutes of posession time and 14 points after averaging 35 points a game. Wisconsin has looked hotter than the other unbeatens (save Utah, which loves to run up the score) in recent weeks after beating bad teams narrowly early in the season. That's all.
  17. Get hammered for me! I still have 6 more months to go! I hope you at least drank before work!
  18. Wisconsin's defense has shut down every offense it has come against. Purdue's was number one before it lost to the Badgers, and Minnesota's was scoring some 35 points per game (or something like that). Purdue would have been shut out if they hadn't resorted to such cheap chop-block tactics. Defense wins championships, not offense. If Wisconsin can generate just 20 points, that's pretty much a guaranteed win. They certainly lit it up against Minnesota. The offense continues to improve, and if they win out, should at least be considered for a championship with the sloppy play of OU and USC this past weekend. Even if Wisconsin wins out, I don't think it will be considered unless 2 of the other undefeated teams lose. That's really a shame. If they would have played Michigan this year, I am pretty sure they would be in the number 2 spot. Auburn has a tough date this week vs. Georgia. If they win big, they certainly deserve a shot at the title. Oh and the Bengals...they deserve a winning season. I can't imagine how bad it felt to be a Bengals fan during the past 15 or so years of suckage. Maybe they can pull it off this year...they certainly look better.
