  2. Just to add if you haven't picked a card. Providian may be a good choice. They offer a free online credit report summary including your FICO score when you use their online account access. The report is updated every month. A great feature to have for free. Plus, since you are just starting out, it is a good way to keep an eye on how others see you creditwise. Edit: The free FICO score is provided by TransUnion.
  3. Still watch big time. Last season I didn't watch too much at the beginning but this season I am watching in HDTV. Wow! I didn't know what I was missing. Never been so glad my old TV broke. It keeps me glued to the set. Also Mrs. HW loves it too...she takes her nap during the race (soothing sounds of 800HP V8s).
  4. Newegg.com Just in case anyone was waiting on ordering a nice 21" CRT (60LB+).
  5. Yep I was going to recommend Zipzoomfly also. I would suggest Outpost.com. They surprise you every now and again with hard to find components they carry. Price is on the high side usually tho. Also, in case you haven't already, you may want to use Newegg's autonotify. About a month ago I was trying to get a RJTech DVD player that was constantly selling out but then I signed up for the autonotify. They sent me an email a week later and I ordered right away and then checked back the next day to find them out of stock again. Handy feature.
  6. I know best is suggestive but "Best Value" is Sandisk Cruzer Micro MP3 Companion (~$40). You just couple it with anySandisk Cruzer Micro usb flash drive (128MB - 1Gig). Bought one for my wife last year when they came out and she still uses it every day. She carries her mp3s, presentations for work, and homework for class all on the same drive. If you are in the market for a flash drive and an mp3 player its a good choice. Only downside so far is limited play functions: switch folder, random, forward, back, etc. No custom playlists, no fancy menus, no computer software - just streamlined to the bare basics.
  7. APEX is coming out with home DVD Players that are DVD compatible sometime in 2005. Note that just because it is DIVX compatible it won't play all DIVX movies because of different codec settings & flavors out there. I suggest reading some of the reviews on Amazon. I was thinking about picking up the Philips DVP642 DivX-Certified Progressive-Scan DVD Player. Also Divx.com has a list of Divx certified players... DivX Certified DVD Players (USA)
  8. Yeah weapon efficiency is just (Primary Kills + Secondary Kills)/(Primary Kills + Secondary Kills + Deaths Holding + Suicides)
  9. We had to play on Cuffo tonight. I don't know if anyone setup it back up for regular play...
  10. Usually buy from DeepDiscountDVD because they usually beat Amazon with total cost. Only thing to watch out for is that their packaging ranges from superb to terrible. My Akira Kurosawa collection arrived with 3 of the 4 push clips broken. Not a big deal because I always have spare DVD cases, just swapped them out. If you are a stickler for prestine collections you may want to try elsewhere.

  12. Yeah. Only Sandisk Micro products will fit into it. Other Sandisk flash drives won't fit. Only problem my wife has is that it takes time getting used to the menu to switch folders and might be more difficult if jogging. But my wife always leaves hers on random play and just skips the songs she doesn't want to hear. By the way, if you get it and wonder why it doesn't play your songs in alphanumeric order. It plays them in the order they were copied over. Took us a while to figure that out but no big deal.
  13. Got my wife the Sandisk MP3 Companion for her last birthday. You have to buy the storage separately (Sandisk Micro) but worked out great for us because we already had 2 of the Sandisk Micros. They come in 128MB, 256MB, 512MB sizes -Battery life is great. -My wife has dropped hers twice already and it still works like a champ. -Really like the fact that it uses the Sandisk Micros because they work just like a disk drive when plugged into USB. So you can store MP3s and data files and still play your MP3s. -The buttons are minimal but it has a good menu system. Update... Newegg & Staples have these in stock.
  14. Just passing on some info I have learned... If your router doesn't power on it is probably the power supply. I have had bad experiences with Linksys Power Supplies. Linksys knows their power supplies are poor quality and they will send you a new one free of charge under warranty or for like $9 (ship included). I have used this offer 3 times myself to order replacements for office networks I have setup for small businesses. Here is the link. https://ssl.linksys.com/rma1.asp
  15. MrX: If you are still thinking about the case. I would go with the SLK3700-BQE over the SLK3700AMB. THE BQE is the Black Quiet Edition. That is our TV Capture and TV out computer here at the house and it is absolutely quiet provided you have quiet heatsink/fan combo.
  16. Can't seem to view member forums. Fatty, can you or anotheradmin let me know if my account is right?
  17. I remember this match. The round was a bit lopsided at the beginning and then it was really lopsided after a bunch of people dropped from Blue. I don't think there was any talk of kicking and I don't think there was an admin around.
  18. You can cross me off the "peeps to pester" list. My $ is on its way to Fatty. So you should be seeing HWarrior/-=GC=-/ soon.
  19. hey all, Finally got of my butt and joined the forum. Next stop member if I can find the wallet... I'll try to see if I can make it to Cuffo tonight.
