I haven't looked but isn't there a client side config you can play with that may have that in it? You could put in anything you want if that is the case. I think it would be funny to put in sound effects instead.

Personally I think you guys need to give some paybacks. I say let him in and just spank him!!! Good to have ya!! Cool, at least I feel better knowing that I have a higher score average than Reckless. I some times get tired of him slappin me around when I play.

You can actuallyl run a mod on the server. But ya, if you do it becomes unranked. You do however have a ton of options with a moded server. I ran the ACE Mod on mine for about a week and just played with all the different things you can throw into the config. I still think you should put up a multi-game type for a bit or even a night to see how it goes over. Still ranked but you get to move through the different GT's instead of just TDM. Just a thought.

Yes Yes, if your looking for a TV just get the largest monitor you can buy and do it that way. Price should be about the same and you'll get a much better experience from it. If your looking for a TV for the front room then I would go with something like Sharp or Panasonic. The picture quality in those are better than most. They tend to be about $100 more than others depending on size but they are worth it. Sony's are very good quality also but now your talking about 2 or 3 hundred more than others. There is a difference in quality, so if your looking for the actual TV route do the research then hit the stores to compare quality. Once you see the difference for yourself then go find the best price. If your looking for the monitor way, I would find out what the biggest size that Hanns-G makes and get one of those. I have a 19'' Hanns-G and the picture quality on this thing is fantastic. Mine is running 5ms and I love it. Just a thought, hope it helps

Not that my opinion counts for much but, I thought that version of that map was boring. What about a completely new map, not a variation of one of the same maps. Its Well without the capture points. I think these game companies throw out new games that are pretty fun but they toss in like 4 or 5 maps with it and then people get bored with the same old maps after about 3 or 4 months. I say make about 2 dozen maps, release about 5 at start then every month release another one. It would keep the game interesting and the player base coming back. Just my 2 cents.

You know Bushwack, you really are a nerd at heart aren't you. I do have to admit though, the kids picked up Nintendo 64 and have like 20 games for it. Pretty fun actually.

Unclean you have to much time on your hands brother! I would have never known that was there. I'm gonna pop in to UT3 from time to time to see if I get that lets play a while feeling. Some of us poped into the 2k4 server last night and I personally had a great time. It was like old times again, you know, getting pwnd by dark and flitter and watching the noobs scroll wheel through their weapons to find the right one. Its all good, I'll be around from time to time, GC has the servers where people go. See you guys later. Oh ya, Wentz, you bacon eater, get in here and play with us.

I have been trying to test out some of the servers that are left out there. One is: (www.theutpub.com Vet ons server) This one runs pretty smooth for me and most always have peeps in it. If GC server is running then when I get on i'll go there just to see if I can get peeps to play. It does seem that once a good server has a few people in it, it does start to fill up. There are people still playing and I think that more and more are turning back to 2k4 to see if anyone wants to play.

I forgot one thing, you have to turn off your community thing in steam. It is an overlay and PB has a problem with it. Try that and see what happens. I just thought of that one, it has been a problem lately with steam and PB

I know PB is already there but update it anyway. PB is vital to this, the wrong version and you won't get anywere. Steam will do all the updating itself for you just like CSS. Also, remember that if you are using a firewall add COD4 to the accepted games list even if you have steam in it already. Hope some of this helps. Oh ya, DONT' FORGET TO ASK AROUND FOR HELP!!!!

I've been poping in here and there on 2k4 servers again. Feels pretty good to play the good ole ONS. I have a hard time playing on some of those other servers though, as Carcass and Omni are just to speratic for me. I can't get a hit with a shock to save my life in those servers. I pop in to Sayunkle from time to time but you guys don't like the berserk play much. My pings aren't to bad but its the glitching that I can't deal with. Its more maps than not with those servers. I would be glad to play with you guys just post up where and when and jump in. I have been working on a web site lately and getting ready to start a new job so I haven't been playing much. I've been on COD 4 with my server for weekend tournaments at my brothers store. My playing time may come to a very slow crawl here soon as I am starting at ArcelorMittal Steal company in Indiana in about a month. Man, a new job at 41 years old is actually a little scary to me, but I'm pretty sure I can cope. I'll look for you guys around and pop in with ya.

if you notce the TWL ladders you will see they have a 5v5 and 6v6 for both stock and HC. I think it all depends on your personal preference. I like it either way, if i'm gonna play organized then I think I would rather play HC. But thats just me. Considering this is a pub mixing it up like you are doing is great.

Alas, Chipper has created another means of control---it kinda has that whole Matrix feel to it now.

Interesting, I might have to actually play it for a bit now.

Just thought I would let you guys know that I have made a few changes to my server. 1. Server now called CCG-Cyber City Gaming 2. Server now in Hardcore mode and Multigametype 3. 2 DOM maps--- 2 KOTH maps--- 2 SAB maps (for now) I am also looking into a config and cmd for competition. Apparently TWL has what they call a Pam4 mod that has competition setup. Might give that a try in the future. Thanks guys.

May I assume this is an RPG? If so may I assume that it is along the lines of say Journeyman Project of 98-99 and Mist and so forth. I might have to do the demo for now and check it out.

I'll admit that TF2 is fun, but it still doesn't have that, (one more round) kind of feeling to it. Then again, I have come to the conclusion that, on my end anyways, most of the games that have come out this year don't have that feeling anymore. I guess I'm just not as involved with the games as I use to be. Its ok though, I get other things done now.

Can you do water? I was thinking along the lines of some kind of hot spring up there with it steaming a little. Ok, its not a hot tub but it might work a little better in this kind of map. BTW, I like the top, looks pretty cool and the open ceiling looks sharp. Give me a shout when your ready dude and I'll throw it up. Looks great.
