Was it the game developers fault, Gabe Newell.. or was it the eager boy, a young mind trapped in the fury of what has been classified as "gaming". It was November 16.. 3:12 AM.. when the little boy, ShadowDog woke up to an alarm he had set for 3:00 AM to unlock the massively amazing new first-person shooter, Half-Life2. He approached his desk and saw the Steam News window minimized. As ShadowDog came closer, his heart thumping, louder... and louder.... AND LOUDER... it was here. The young boy started to unlock the game files and couldnt take it anymore.. he put in Devil May Cry 2 to try and pass time, for the unlocking was a mundanely long process that seemed to never end. Suddenly, Devil May Cry 2 was getting suspensful, when he spent all the unlock time collecting Red Orbs only to have his ps2 freeze *smack smack smack* goes the ps2 against a wall (not really.. but i wanted to so badly, it was like 4 hours of collecting money pretty much). The time had come.. his desktop which had once been a countdown for the most ridiculously amazing game ever, now flashed: HL2 Has Been Released!... IT STALKED HIM.. THAT 86% SEEMED TO MOVE SLOWER AND SLOWER AND SLOWER AND SHADOWDOG COULDNT TAKE IT ANYMORE *hold on... people calling for condolence.* *30mins later* 90%!! IT WAS COMING ... HE IMAGINED WHAT IT WOULD BE LIKE... would it have unicorns dancing upon rainbows, then attacked by headcrabs only to have their eyes turn red and hearts shunned with pure evil and a blood lust... or would it have Gordon working in a lab to only mess up and expose a deadly air virus to the world.. since ShadowDog didnt look at any reviews, spoilers, trailers... nothing because he didnt want to ruin the FULL EXPERIENCE for himself. OH WOW!!! PRAISE MOSES (jew) . IT IS HERE! he sees the unlock, it baffles him for a few seconds and he shakes his head with the passion of destroying the combine! clicks a bazilion times on play games.. THEN TO SEE HALF-LIFE 2 WASNT ... COMING SOON... HE QUICKLY AND FRANTICLY OPENS HALF-LIFE 2... the loading time.. AHH THE LOADING TIME!! NOOO DONT DO THIS TO ME!!!! NOW AN UPDATE?!?! HOW CAN U UPDATE A GAME THAT HAS BEEN OUT FOR LIKE 5 SECONDS!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! *chucks Puffs Plus box at wall* GO QUICKER.. that was probably the longest 28 seconds of his life.. he loads it.. G-man talking.. wow.. he so cool, graphics look amazing on Radeon 9800 pro 128mb... he is stunned... he wanders ominiously throughout the game, throws a coke can at a guard and meets the love of his life....
