I just now learned this is a CZ map? No wonder i've never seen it. I've not even stepped into it, but I noticed it brings theplayer count down. You tell me.

well since tides was included in the patch it shouldn't hit the player count too hard. But I have seen that it does bring it down some. Something that doesn't bother ME too much

 

I want to learn its nuances a little more before I pass judgement on it. It has to be one of the prettiest maps I have ever seen. I also like the close quarters aspect. Just not sure it has great action spots.

I think it's just new to a lot of people that didn't play cz and they just need to learn it. Give it time I think it'll become poplar.

I agree with that. Resistance to change is common, you know. Give it some time.

Mayhem is on Tides right now and we're up to 18 people playing and there's 9 minutes to go. I think we started with about 12 or so. I'd say the big issue is whether or not teams can stay fair on the map.

Tides reminds me a great deal of playing warcraft... I imagine seeing orcs and stuff jump through the doors... I like to surf.

I hate tides, it's too lopsided and frankly I just think it's poorly layed out. It definitely puts a hit on our pubbers. I know I won't play on it lol.

here's what I know....tides causes a full server on rec to go to 15 peeps....and kills mayhem too...i just watched this, and nogood messaged me earlier about it.

 

we shouldn't have to "put up" with a map....we should load it if we want it....the general public doesn't like it.

 

I'm not biased, i've not played a round in it. Would someone like to do a public poll about this map and see what they say?
