First, you should be idling at #gamerscoalition Second, take a read through this...if you're interested in seeing if you can win GC something, take a serious read, and note our account numbers at the bottom. Now, I gotta tell you, if you win the account discount, I will split it with you....which means I will pay you cash. You can also win yourself some games. If you want, toss a GC somewhere in or around your name...even if you're just one of our community members. Here you go: Most of you have used at one time or another our irc channel. We have noticed thatthis is a good method for chatting with the client one on one or in the main public channel. It also gives clients a chance to meet other clients and they tend to help each other or even setup matches amongst each other. So we want to try doing something new to entice you all to idle in our IRC channel. This will give us the opportunity to make public announcements, unscheduled maintence and just plain questions and comments. Now please realize that we still want our clients to use our support ticket system for most support but during business hours irc does work well. Now we do not sit and stare at the irc channel but we do check it often and listen for people typing in the channel. If we see someone that needs help we answer quickly. Ok now down to the good stuff J, what I would like to try is to give a monthly prize give-a-way. We will select a person from the IRC channel each month and ask them there account number and/or server ip. We will accept information by you or one of your clan mates as long as they know your account number or server ip. Now we will be watching for those who actually idle in the channel and those that come in just to try and get the prize. We will not have a set time and day every month we will randomly pick and try to get a different account each month. We will simply private message you and we will give you 24 hours to respond and if you respond you will be the winner for that month. Here will be the list of prizes that we will be giving away. Note: We will have the prize chosen before picking the Client for that month. XGS T-Shirts, Hats and other miscellaneous items. Account Discounts 5%, 10%, 25% and 50% off your total package! Hardware i.e. Video Cards, Sound Cards and other miscellaneous products! Video Game of your choice from the game types we host. We will also give other services away that we offer from our website. Everything from game servers to Web Design Packages. We hope to see the channel filling up and if you have any questions on how to use irc let us know we will help you as much as possible. This is the error I'm getting: * Connecting to irc.gamesurge.net (6667)- * Unable to connect to server (Software caused connection abort) I bet it's my company's firewall.
