My first car was a saturn...save the money on the equipment and put it aside for repair costs at the local mechanic....forgive me i have a grudge against those cars

Right now i have a 99 Jeep cherokee sport....forest green loaded...love it

White '95 Dodge Avenger 4-cyl 5-speed

clearest most beautiful sound system I've ever heard in a car......

I don't go for a TON of bass but I like clarity

1 10 inch MTX (or Cerwin-Vega if I want to but prolly gonna sell it) with a 300watt Jensen amp

2 Infinity Kappa 3inch speaker/tweeters with 60watts apiece

sweet crossover I got for free (don't know brand)

and the other 4 stock speakers in door and back window....

Pioneer (cheap) head unit

all of it for 170 dollars and it is beeeeautiful....

That sounds like me when i was 17. I had a 1986 ford Areostar with two fifteens inch subs, 4 6x9 infinitys, 2 4" infinitys. Custom made box to fit the fifteens, two horn tweets, and two 2.5" mids. Had two jensens amp's bridged down to 1 ohm pumping about 750 watts into each sub. It was mess, but it would make you go deaf in about five minutes.

I do believe the max amount of people i had in there one time was 24. Talk about a low rider. That car was so much fun

My ride now, i have a 1998 VW passat 1.4 turbo, fun little go cart.

barto aren't you the guy that's into little European sports cars?

the father of a friend of mine has a Spitfire and an MG....sweet little cars...

and in the town I work in there is a car dealership that has about 20 MINT condition MG's and Triumphs and a few Porsches and Ferrarris....all of em cheap (the MG's and Triumphs are $10,000 or less) cause he runs a drug outfit out of there

:D

or so we believe....trucks showing up at 3am to unload "parts" and he NEVER sells cars yet has no money troubles....

Indeed, i enjoy working on/driving a fine little 1960 Triumph TR3A... I am looking forward to buying an MGA some day... i can dream! realistically, i might buy a fixer-upper MG Midget, mid sixties, because they're affordable.

Remember kids, REAL sports cars push 100 horsepower... or less!
