Wolfsblood November 23, 2005 Share Wolfsblood Member November 23, 2005 Ok you guys were talking about a "so-called" World Tour of Beers, If you guys can make it to FF06, a trip to the Winking Lizard is mandatory. http://www.winkinglizard.com/100beers.asp THAT is a World Tour of Beers. Few fruity things, NO malt-ternatives, just beer. Heavy on good tasting, light on filler. Nothing brewed by Anheiser-Busch, Miller, Coors. They even list Guinness on the "Beginners List". They have beers that you can find nowhere else in the country. If you love beer, you gotta visit there. There's one not very far from FF06, I'm sure Fatty will be happy to lead a field trip there, and if not, I'll do it! Who's up for it?

We have a couple places similar to that here in Toronto like the Bier Markt, which boasts a similar selection of world beers and is just a great time had by all. I think a trip to the Winking Lizard would be great fun...but it would have to be an end of the night activity I think...I assume most people would go straight to bed after such an outing...
