Start pushing too low and parts can be limited. Dunno if you saw his edit Cujo but he's looking for one >$75, so how about the Enermax Whisper 460W? Cujo January 17, 2006 Share Cujo Member January 17, 2006 400w enermax liberty should be sub 75. it's 95cdn where i work. i wouldn't go lower than that. i like dual 12v rails and modular cables of the liberty.

Probably best to go with a 500w+ one.

Metallurgic January 17, 2006 Share Metallurgic Member January 17, 2006 Only run two if the extra psu is running fans or something that isnt essential to the operation of the pc. Example: using one psu for your hard drives, and one for your graphics card. NOT GOOD. : )
Cujo January 17, 2006 Share Cujo Member January 17, 2006 (edited) zero, what did you order? metallurgic, i would never trust my pc to aspire. they are not quality psus. jackie, 500w+ is not necessary if it's a good quality psu. at least not for most people. the 400w liberty would power 99% of the computers owned by people here without issues. edit - errr i meant without... Cujo January 18, 2006 Share Cujo Member January 18, 2006 (edited) zero, i've had three and two of them broke caues the components fell off the top. the third is still running but 12v rail is at 11.4 on an old thunderbird system. maybe the new ones are better. hopefully for you. ultra x-connect suck as well. antec, enermax, and ocz are the 3 most common good. pcpower&cooling are the best (what i have). edit- oh ya. the working one the components fell off the top as well.
