it doesnt budge my faith.

As it shouldn't. Faith and science are two completely separate things (that can exist harmoniously).

Since when did you like to stir the pot mini! :D

Anyways, Find an article proving "something can come from nothing" and you might raise my eyebrow about the theory of "macro evolution..."

That kind of a find would raise everyone's eyebrows... abiogenesis (something from nothing) is separate from evolution (gradual change in a species over time). But it's still a fascinating topic. If you want to learn more about it, look into the Urey-Miller experiments and the work of the late Dr Sydney Fox.

Now stop hijacking the topic, Brew! We're talking about evolution here! :)

I dont understand how it can't put a question into religous people's faith. Surely if the Bible says one thing and then science 'proves' to a certain extent that something different happened, then surely a religous person questions the validity of the start of the Bible, and if they question the start as it doesnt match up to science's 'proof', then they question other parts?

btw, im not trying to offend anybody or undermine their beliefs, I'm just trying to understand.

The only people that are threatened by the theory of evolution are literal "7 day creation" Christians. Because the theory of evolution proposes change over millions and millions of years, it can't be accurate. Evolution is in no conflict with any other religion, because they all can view evolution as the tool God used to create life.

Oh, and some people think evolution = origin of life. That's not true - it's actually evolution = change in life.
