appalachian_fox April 14, 2006 Share appalachian_fox Member April 14, 2006 Man, I would love to file electronically, but I don't pay to have my taxes prepared nor do I use software (though the software is really slick). Maybe I'm missing something, but I was led to believe that if you don't do either of those you have to file by paper. Is that right?
whudats April 14, 2006 Author Share whudats Member April 14, 2006 I believe you are correct. This is the first year that I haven't filed electronically since 2002, I think.

whudats April 18, 2006 Author Share whudats Member April 18, 2006 No pay/Don't tell anyone You sound like my brother - not filing. But in his case, it hurts him because he would get a refund, the goofball.
Bubblegum Bandit April 18, 2006 Share Bubblegum Bandit Member April 18, 2006 Used Turbotax online, filed electronically, 1st week of February. Spent refund third week of February.
anonymo April 20, 2006 Share anonymo Member April 20, 2006 I hadn't filed since 2002...I got an angry letter from the CRA (canadian revenue agency) in Feb telling me I had to file before March 6th...it's funny how all these years they haven't bothered me or given me my tax credits but when I all of a sudden start making money (started new job in Jan.) and start paying them taxes they wonder where the rest is...we I showed them, I got my accountant to do all my taxes...the checks just started to arrive this week...boy I hope they feel stupid!
