3.5 to 4 meg files take me 7+ minutes to dl (as opposed to our now-temp fixed redirect server where it takes about 10 seconds)

 

That's in the 5 to 10k range.

I just took Icarus (3.8M) in 50 seconds, with Firefox reporting about 82KB/s. I have 768k so that is not far off the fastest I could possibly get.

Weird - sometime between my last post and this one the whole routing thing has changed from where I am at - three more hops than last night - and now 200 - 300k / sec speeds.

 

Very odd.
