Lunk October 27, 2006 Share Lunk Member October 27, 2006 My wife got me Sirius Satellite Radio for my birthday. And man it rocks. Seems like no matter what station I put it on, there's always a good song playin'. Never thought I would pay for radio. But now I can't imagine not having it. ArmyG October 27, 2006 Share ArmyG Member October 27, 2006 Yes, yes, and yes. I got 3 months free with my new car, and I ended up signing up in a panic the day it expired. I just couldn't imagine being in my car without it.

Lunk October 27, 2006 Author Share Lunk Member October 27, 2006 I got the portable one. It's called the sportester 4. Picked up this flat panel speaker radio that you plug the unit into in the house. It also can record up to 44 minutes of programming so you won't miss something you were listening to. PS: SJ they make a boom box you can carry around to listen to it. Or you can get the portable(ipod like) one.

Gond October 27, 2006 Share Gond Member October 27, 2006 I had XM for 3 months after buying my car...I like the no commercials. However, after 3 months I realized that the stations play the same music every day, just like radio. So, all I'd be paying for was no commercials. I don't have XM anymore. monthos October 28, 2006 Share monthos Member October 28, 2006 Got my XM and love it, even though my car doesnt deserve it, a 1994 rusted tbird. I spend my morning drive on 202 (opie&andthony) and the drive home/other times bouncing between 48 for hard rock/alternative and 42 which is a metal channel. sometimes in between going to comedy channels to mix it up. I couldnt see driving the hour and 15 minutes to work each day without it now.
