Tristan July 20, 2007 Share Tristan Member July 20, 2007 Benny Hinn is a fraud and uses his church as a tax exemption. He goes on religious meetings all over the world for a weekend. But takes his family and stays for a week, all covered by the church. His property taxes are paid for as he built a church on the land. His methods of healing are completely fake, and you notice he only brings people on stage who have diseases you cannot see clearly. eg. He will "heal" cancer patients but not allow people with mental or physical disabilities on stage.
Preacher July 20, 2007 Share Preacher Member July 20, 2007 Calling him a fraud is easy, Steve Martin researched him for a year and a half preparing for the movie "Leap of Faith" and eventually changed the way the movie ended because after viewing the antics and hearing the actual meetings he found that some folks were getting healed and saw it with his own eyes. As far as the home taxes what do you think ministers have been doing since the beginning of the church if not living near or on the church property? You saying you'ld pay more money to the government if you didn't have to? What kind of idiot pays the taxes when there is a loophole? I bet you and everyone else here works as hard as they can to make the money they get and in the end we all want to keep as much as possible. As far as his methods are concerned have you ever heard him actually preach, been to one of his meetings or witnessed him doing anything fake? If you have proof great, show us, otherwise go hang with the guy who said George Bush has a hurricane machine and stop bashing something you don't know anything about. * knows someone healed of cancer at a Benny Hinn international healing conference in Ft. Worth, Tx in 1999 *

And here I was thinking that the bible forbids false prophets and whatnot...
